We also filed both thinking the same. I also thought Texas would handle the I129F. All they did was forward the I129F to Nebraska. I imagine they just tucked it away in the same waiting cabinet as out I130. The website is misleading because it gives you the impression if you file the I129F it gives you the option alleviate the stress and allow you to wait together. Which if it did what it promised the wait would be so much easier.

I agree with you.....  They need to remove it off the site so misleading.

I think some of them just used them to get a green card. Don't understand why they would make a show like this. When you have people that are really in love get denied.

Yes we can

I guess its all about ratings and another reality show they feel people will watch

That tv show is entertaining me right now. My second episode and i already see that these poor souls were used by their fiances and i can't believe that they cannot see for themselves. They need to show the entire process and not just when they got to the US because they are sugar coating the waiting period for approval. Other than that i like being entertained. Will now be my weekly escape from reality of USCIS.

I've had some couples from previous seasons that i did like. This lot they have on now, is tiresome. Anfisa and Jorge, nothing has changed with them, Moh and Danielle, i can't even comment, Chantel and Pedro, he seems like a nice guy, Chantel is the reason for the problems, and Russ and Paola, bore me and Alexie and Loren, meh.

Just a lil Update..we received the hardcopy of NOA2 on 24th of June..which says we were already approved on the 19th..I just received an update via my case tracker app on the 21st of June which said we were approved on the 20th of June...lol..

Well..just so you know you might are already approved and don't even know yet. Yesterday i got a new update also via case tracker app that our cases are sent to the Department of State.

To the people who are already at NVC do you think calling NVC in two weeks would make sense? Or should i wait a lil longer? I need to link my daughters case to mine as well..i have to call either way. Is anybody doing the CEAC Upload process?

VERY Important!! Please read this post. Could save you 11 weeks!!

Hello, for those of you who are about to start the NVC process or already have.. Please make sure you bookmark the following. I've created this because 1/3rd of our cases that are represented on our spreadsheet have received a checklist (like a RFE but for the NVC). Hopefully if you read this, it will reduce the chances of any of you from receiving one. Receiving a checklist can delay your case for 11 weeks (current processing time quoted by the NVC)..  Good luck!! :)

I would call the NVC today to find out if the case is in the building. Once they have it they have two weeks to assign the case number. I would wait two weeks between the day the receive it and calling for the case number. Also because we had the case number we were able to access CEAC a few days before we got the welcome email.
