This is not entirely true. I received my EAD approval at day 88 and I've seen person's who filed after me from K1 visa got there's weeks before mine.. So I think it's safe to say that they really don't have an order of doing things. Also I have a friend who is also adjusting from B1/B2 who filed about 2 days before me and still not yet  approved....

I've noticed a faster pace for EAD for B1/B2.

edit: It doesn't exclude that those might have been straight forward cases, but the point is to exclude "unknowns". SInce you don't KNOW.. then take out the data points that are easy to take out --- such as those from different visa categories... also it makes sense that they would vary since for instance K1's are waived interview more often etc.. Any difference in procedure would potentially generate a difference in processing times... In any case, it's an unknown.

Well I do agree that it's unknown. Practically all or almost everyone I filed with in October received RFE/RFIE except for me and most still got approval before me.... I don't think USCIS even know what order they're going by because I've heard so many different stories from them. For person's who received RFE/RFIE that their clock restart to when they receive respond and some is not, some say it's differ by application for example RFE for I765 or RFE for I485 but at the end of the day non of it adds up....

The restart thing is just a convenient answer when they haven't gotten to it yet. I'm sure it's done the way they do all applications. SOmeone grabs a handful of applications (that are in order) and puts on their desk. Then go to work.. Now as you can imagine how fast they get to the bottom of that pile will depend on many things... how big was the pile, am I sick this week, do i have vacation this week.. is one of the cases gonna hold up the rest a lot, am I a newer or older employee, do I take my time or do I work quickly.. etc...

I am wondering what happens if the expected date of travel that I wrote in the I-131 form has passed, will they still issue the AP card? Anyone know?

I don't think it's affecting anyhow. Good luck !

Good news, friends! Just got an email stating that my Card is being produced! I am adjusting from a K1 visa and sent the package on Nov 7th. My NOA date is of Nov 10th and Biometrics on Dec 7th. Exactly 3 months after filing and 2 months after bio appointment. I raised a service inquiry on Jan 24th (75th day), and it was processed on Jan 31st. They sent me the service inquiry through mail but still haven't gotten it. Not sure if it helped my case, but just sharing the info with you all. Finally I can work here in the U.S.! will update my timeline right now. Good luck to you all!!

Congrats on your EAD! hopefully more people will get approved sooner because most of us are getting a little impatient. I've been silently reading and following this thread almost everyday and hoping to get more approvals. I guess a week or two wouldn't hurt. I'm on Day 80.. ?

I sense some defensive posts today.  Take a deep breath people! The March K-1 filers know full well what the waiting game is all about and how trying to second guess USCIS processing times and how they apply to individual cases is a waste of time. Wait the required amount of time, send an inquiry after that and cross your fingers. Good Luck!

My congressman immigration case worker, just notified me that she reached out to USCIS via email telling asking them to expedite on financial hardship and also about my pending job offer I have... so on this day 86 let's see if there is I can be lucky.
