Me too!

I submitted my resume also on craigglist and was called for interview last week.

I took the test and in-person interview yesterday and seem like it was possitive feedback. Expect to have final interview next week for a job offer.

Hi Duy,

Did they ask you for your visa status?

Yes the HR emailed me a career history form to fill up. There is a question in this from asking if ur eligible to work. So just tick YES.

I think if I am qualified for final interview. I might bring the uscis receipt and tell them the situation.

My case did not update after my Biometrics.

I-485 says "Fingerprint Fee Received" and the others "Case was Received"

Just have to be realistic and patient with the process. It takes a long time and updates seem to be few and far between. Have to just accept this is how it is - you go insane obsessing over it otherwise :)

Yes each time your case is touched by IO it is scanned when the system is working properly the dates should change to represent the progress. 11/4 was probably when they mailed ur bio letter. You will not hear anything again until they make a decision probably. If the date changes and no update more than likely just a touch.

Do you mind telling me what field you are in? Because I had few interviews and they require me to have no restriction with respect to duration. I do explain the EAD is valid for one year while they process the GC, but then they tell me that they can't go forward with my application as I currently have only a temporary permit (EAD)

Yes - the last update was 12/6 on all of them, I'm guessing as said that's when they last looked at my case and mailed the Bio appointment letter.

My name is only on the internet bill, should it be added to more? Also, would a bank accept an identity card from my home country?

If your name can be added to more bills then it will help your case since it's more solid proof of living together, the more bills the better lol.

And it depends on the bank, but I'm sure they would accept any other ID you may have together with your passport (and if you have a SSN that would also be helpful). Visit different banks and ask, it's always better to go in person. :)
