To pass time anyone care to share hiw5 they and their love met?[/quote

Oh gosh!!!! I put out a personal ad as a last ditch attempt before buying the cats and the lifetime library membership. Most embarrassing how we met story I'll bet ?reeks of desperation but God sent me the single most amazing human being (honestly if you met them you'd understand). And now I'm feeling the worst of thanksgiving and bummed that we didn't do this earlier. Holidays apart are hard ☹️

I hear that, i miss my fiance to a ridiculous extent

I hear that, i miss my fiance to a ridiculous extent

We actually always knew each other, his sisters baby sat me and we went to the same church growing up, our parents have been friends for decades. We just reconnected as friends later in life after i had moved and slowly started dating. He is so sweet and kind and attentive, and loves me to a crazy degree and shows me how much cares everyday, from the sweetest notes to qirky songs.

Ok.So you can't apply for the DS160 until they have your stuff? Seems like its 2 weeks or more then. It was funny last week I was walking distance to the NVC and wished i could help out some of you guys.

You can start the DS-160 and save it for up to 30 days on the CEAC site. I also recommend saving the ".dat" file to your computer as a backup. I've been going back and forth with my fiancee making sure we have everything ready for when we get our NVC number.

It would have been funny if you actually stopped in to check on our cases. Haha!

2016-10-18 NOA 2 on 2016-11-25

2016-10-31 NOA 2 on 2016-11-25

Hello all, I was out of town for a few days with the kids. I figured it would be slow for USCIS.

I did find 2 approvals from November. They do not appear to be active posters here on the forum but again congrats to them none the less. Oct 18 and Oct 31 are the NOA 1's.

I'm expecting a huge flood of October NOA 2's coming up this next week.

Need to get them cleared out so they can start on November..hehe

Didn't you get a notice that "document sent" ?

What was that?

Maybe you will have it in a few days.

Some take around 21 days before NOA issued after RFE.

You may get a response sooner though.

Just stay positive and the good thing is someone is working on your case and you have done what you needed to by responding.

Yeah, it's upsetting how vague it is. I check our case status everyday too, and it says on the website that the last time it was updated was 2 weeks ago (when it changed to "Document was Mailed" from "Case was received") and its really putting me on edge 'cause I have received zero mail from them since filing the case. I tried to file a request but every time I hit submit I got an error message (screenshot attached) and my heart jumped when I saw the word "approved" but then I thought that if it really is approved then it would say so instead of some vague status that could mean anything...

I'm going to call them again by Nov 30 since, from the "Case Received" status, they said that if I don't receive a receipt notice by 12/30 I should call them up.

Also, is it okay for me to assume that they're not sending us our document back? Because the updated status did say that if we don't receive anything by 12/17 then we request them to send another copy, right?

What are some reasons they would deny the I-129? I think I'm just freaking out over here. Lol

The I-129F petition is rarely "denied" more than likely an RFE would be issued.

The only reasons I can think of a denial would be if you never met in person within 2 years of filing or there was as blatant misrepresentation or fraud on the petitioner's part for example failing to disclose and putting NO for a specific criminal record.

The denial part is much more likely for the K-1 Visa itself which is where our fiance(e)s get interviewed by the US State Department at the various US embassy's.

As long as you were truthful and gave them the info requested I don't think you will have any problems with getting your NOA 2.

Here a few videos to help pass the time.

- Bruce and his Filipina wife have a FB page and YouTube page as well.

this deals more with the Interview/visa application rather than the I-129F.

another outfit selling their services but do provide some useful info in the video

Have fun.

Good things coming for some forum member here later this week.

A full 5 day work week at that.
