Well interview scheduling has started. Someone for Ghana reported on VJ facebook they got a January date. Now that's odd.

But people should start calling and asking about their embassy.

Would try to call Monday. Hopefully there is something. Singapore is Holiday for today Fri in lieu of the it falling on a Saturday Deepavali

Just continue to watch your status until it reads READY than its at the embassy. usually takes 3 to 5 days to get to Embassy.

That's what a joint sponsor is gor. Long as he meets or exceeds required income that won't be a reason for denial.

That's the thing, it is not a joint form I filed out (not i-864 but rather i-864a for my brother) so is that still applies? So my brother is using me and my husband including himself in his household (3 people) and his salary for this year is close to 3 figures. however in the previous 2 years it was below the required. is that still okay?

sorry still nervous. I will be there with him for this his interview but it is Pakistan and I have heard contradictory stories.

Yes, that's the right form. Thousands of people have done it, don't worry! And I believe (someone else who filed with a co-sponsor please correct me if I'm wrong), your brother only has to qualify for a household of two people, himself and your spouse, because it's assumed you are self-supporting; your brother isn't agreeing to take care of you as well!

5/03/16 NOA2!

5/06/16 NVC received case

5/20/16 Case number assigned

5/23/16 Email from NVC with case number

5/23/16 Choice of Agent filled out, AOS fee invoiced and paid

5/31/16 Called NVC, reviewed I-261 over the phone

6/02/16 IV bill invoiced and paid

7/28/16 Finally! All police clearances and birth certificate received; mailed IV and AOS; filed I-260

8/04/16 Official scan date (tracking shows "delivered" the day before)

8/15/16 Visiting my husband! 10 days

9/01/16 Received checklist in error, claiming our application was on hold because of a waiver application we never filed

9/02/16 Sent for supervisor review, six week timeframe given

9/13/16 Sent for "document review", whatever that is, told the timeframe is now indefinite

9/20/16 Contacted US Representative Adam Smith's office for assistance (WA)

9/26/16 3 N/As and Case Complete!

11/14/16 Interview: approved pending medical! (Vaccines hadn't been available)

11/19/16 Visa received in passport

12/09/16 POE Seattle

03/06/17 Green card received (address changed after POE, no problem)

5/2017 Our baby is due

Thanks for the answer. yes under my brother's household it is him and my hubby. For me it is 3 household members.

I hope everything goes smoothly specially with the strike in the city and possible chances of road blocks. We will be traveling a day before so hopefully we are able to enter the city in time. It is so frustrating.

Well, week's over and haven't heard anything from the Embassy. They haven't even touched the file since 24-Oct-2016 when I dropped off the evidence.

Hopefully I will hear something soon, my husband's medical expires on December 28th :/

I have a question, i am from pakistan and living in UAE. Do i need 2 police clearance certificates? 1 for pakistan and 1 for uae? Or only uae is enough?
