I have a question, i am from pakistan and living in UAE. Do i need 2 police clearance certificates? 1 for pakistan and 1 for uae? Or only uae is enough?

Yes, you need both clearance certificates . Same case with my husband.

By they way did you get it thru email or phone?

I called on Friday and the agent said it was assigned the previous day.

This morning I got the P4 email.

Timeline in brief:

Married: September 27, 2014

I-130 filed: February 5, 2016

NOA1: February 8, 2016 Nebraska

NOA2: July 21, 2016

Interview: December 6, 2016 London

POE: December 19, 2016 Las Vegas

N-400 filed: September 30, 2019

Interview: March 22, 2021 Seattle

Oath: March 22, 2021 COVID-style same-day oath

 

Now a US citizen!

Its good to know that the recipient will receive the p4 email shortly after the interview is scheduled. Its torture calling nvc and listening to that awful music! I was going to call nvc again next wk, but I will just wait for the p4 email for my husband (crossing fingers that its next wk). Good luck guys!

7/05/16 - Case was sent to The Department of State

7/25/16 - Received case #

7/26/16 - Received bills

7/28/16 - Paid bills

8/02/16 - DS-260 complete

8/04/16 - Scan Date

8/30/16 - NVC "Case Complete"

9/28/16 - Received interview date - 11/7/16

10/12/16 - Medical exam

10/17/16 - Received medical exam results

11/7/16 - Interview scheduled

My husband was approved!!! Thank you to everyone who took the time to provide us with information, tips and everyone who posted there journey and experiences which helped us a lot. Special thanks to my new VJ friends Marie, Graciela and Maria for all their help and support through this process.

Yes. Every country you have lived for more than 6 months as soon as you reached the age of 16.

Received my GREEN CARD it took 48 DAYS although they said it will take 6MONTHS.
