I have been approved of immigrate status because I'm married to an US citizen, at this moment, I'm waiting for the NVC's letter for an interview for my immigrate visa. After that, I will be able to go back to the United States and file for a green card, aka changing my status.

My main concern at this moment is that, I don't know if I can change it to an US citizenship, or that I only have option for a green card, because I already have a dual citizenship with the UK and Hong Kong. So does anyone know if I am able to opt a US citizenship or not after I get back to the United States?

It will take you some years before you are eligible for citizenship, but having two citizenships already will not matter. You will just need to disclose them both.

Just so you don't get false hopes, you are not approved for an immigrant visa until at or after your interview. You have just been approved to apply. The final decision is made by the CO that does your interview (or may need further review causing further delays), and then you need to be admitted into the US at your POE. You will not file for a green card upon arrival, either; you will need to have paid your GC fee at some point during your process, and the GC will be mailed to your home after arrival. Until you receive the physical GC, you will refer to the stamp that will be given in your passport upon entering the US.

When you arrive to the US, you will arrive as a Legal Permanent Resident. For citizenship, you can apply after three years of LPR status if you are married to a US citizen, or after five years if you'd like to just apply on your own. The US doesn't care if you have multiple citizenships; you will just need to inform them of that on your paperwork. You may want to check that the UK and Hong Kong have no problems with it, though.

You'll also have to live in the US for those 3 or 5 years (you can travel abroad, but in less than 6-month increments and you have to be physically present in the US for more than half the time during those years).

Also, you are not changing your status once you get to the US. Entering on an immigrant visa means you automatically become a LPR (GC holder). Just pay the $165 fee for the actual physical GC.

So if I pay the $165 for the GC at the American Consulate, and to assume that I have successfully passed the interview, I will get a GC at the US address which I have given?
