I really dont remember all questions, it happened year and a half ago. if you can try my post from last year i wrote down all questions. somethning i can remember now:

my hours

her hours

my job her job

my car model year color her too

who pays bills

major intersection close to our appt

what we did last friday, sat and sunday

who is our car ins provider

where and how we met

how many times i went to my home country and why she didnt go with me

her moms address

her mine phone num

If this is going to be like Mr and Mrs I can see me failing. At our AOS interview I forgot how old I was :-) I'm guessing you can't phone a friend either.

I'll be 59 next month so perhaps I can claim a "senior moment" as defence.

How did you present your evidence they ask for (bank statements, leases, etc.) I mean, did you put it in a folder? Punch holes, use paper clips? I'm making copies but wondering if I need the originals, too?

Keep all papers loose, but organized so that you can readily lay hands on what's asked for.

The other member was subjected to a Stokes interview (split up, answers compared).

Be prepared for that, just in case.

By statute, a certain number of ROC cases have to be picked for interview, so it might be perfunctory.

Only a small percentage is called for interview for ROC. It's likely you won't have one.

We were split up but the questions were basic....where did we get married, where my husband works, what kind of car we have, how old is my daughter (they asked him only). When my husband entered the US (me only). Both of us (separated)...where we lived when he came to the US (Indiana), why did we leave Indiana (didn't like the area, smog & humidity), why we moved to California (my daughter lived there, beautiful area), why did we leave California (hubby was sick because of all the mold on the coast), how did we choose Wisconsin (his cousin & jobs). It was also mentioned that we like nature so we both (separately) mentioned the trails we've walked, etc. If it was a "Stokes" then it was easy. I suspect they may have asked because of us moving around so much. I gave him pictures. He didn't look at the 5 pounds of paperwork I brought. I offered it to him, he said, no, he didn't need it. LOL after all that printing I guess he could see we are very co-mingled and honest. Anyway, as I got up to go he said my husband can expect his GC in about 2 weeks!

Seriously, that was pretty thoughtless of them. I can imagine some employers would not be happy with less than a week's notice for time off.

Congrats even though it was a Stokes, sounds like it went perfectly. My husband is terrified of a Stokes interview and keeps trying to memorise my favourite things... I told him to stop and just go with the flow. Even if we do our best and I get deported, that's more shame on the US for splitting up a family than it is shame on us. Well, unless we send/give barebones evidence, but we haven't so far.

I better start memorizing the answers to these questions right away....I can see myself failing miserably. In this day and age I do not remember any ones phone number or the name of the streets. Just dial from the contact list and follow the GPS ....

Thanks! I think it was a bit easy compared to what I've heard about a Stokes. The compared questions were where we got married, what kind of car we have and where we lived and why we moved. There were no questions about the color of the walls in the apartment or underwear colors or what we ate, etc.

I better start memorizing the answers to these questions right away....I can see myself failing miserably. In this day and age I do not remember any ones phone number or the name of the streets. Just dial from the contact list and follow the GPS ....

I didnt know my wife phone# nor she could remember mine. she said i know area code and thats it.

The other question we failed was how many times i traveled to my country. my wife forgot so total 2 answers were wrong.

but those are stupid questions and anyone can forget answers. but if you say that you sleep on the right side of the bed and your wife says the yousleep on the left side that could be a problem,or if you say you have two sofas in living room and your wife says one sofa....something like that, just giving you stupid examples.
