Interview Letter for ROC

We hadn't heard anything in ages. In August they requested a new set of fingerprints, photo and signature from hubby. Today hubby got a letter with an interview date of next Wednesday. The letter states that husband and wife must attend the interview (of course I will attend with my hubby). The letter says:

BRING WITH YOU - This notice, your spouse, your passport, your alien card, and 2 recent photos. You must bring evidence to prove that the marriage through which you gained your conditional residence status was entered into in good faith. This evidence may include, but is not limited to children's birth certificates, income tax returns, joint bank accounts, joint leases, joint mortgage, insurance policies, cancelled checks, joint bills, wills, affidavits from acquaintances, photos, etc.

Does this sound like a normal ROC interview? How did your interviews go, if you had one?

No. Nothing, except the letter requesting the new biometrics.

A small percentage of ROC cases are randomly selected for interview. Given that you received no RFE, yours seems to be one of these. You'll be fine.

Bring some more recent joint bank account statements etc. (from the time you filed your ROC up until now).

That's a relief! I'm also planning to bring copies of our lease agreements because those happened after we filed. I could also maybe get an affidavit from our neighbors. They live right across the hall from us. What do you think?

Sounds good. Affidavits are a secondary evidence, not really necessary, but you can get them if you want.

indiana_sweet, regardless of their stupid timing, it must be a relief for you that your +1.5 year wait is coming to an end. I'd take an interview any day to waiting any further. I am sure it would be a piece of cake for you guys. Just bring additional evidences that you collected after your application. Your 2015 tax returns, all the new documents you guys signed since you moved to WI (new lease, new health insurance enrollments, new car insurances, etc).

We had ROC interview as well. They separated us and asked same questions. It took almost one hour.

No. Sent paperwork in December and in February got letter for March interview.

They were interviewing me first then my wife. Around 30 min each. Same questions from our life ea who pays bills , what is major intersection near our apartment , our working hours ....

30 minutes!! That's a lot of questions. What the heck all do they want to know? Can you elaborate? We've been living together since hubby immigrated, but still...what if hubby gets rattled and forgets something?
