Sure, but I feel like M&Ms are across the board more popular with both kids and adults! I wonder what the skittles corp. thinks of all this. :content:

I like throwing Baby Ruth's in the pool.

The Smarties we grew up with in the states were a bit different, they were more of a fruit flavored sugar wafer. When my wife first moved here she asked me if we had Smarties and I said yes, but I later found out the Smarties in Canada were like Skittles.

These are the Smarties I grew up with as a kid, i think they are still on the market.

That should read M&M's, not skittles. They look like Skittles but have chocolate.

Ahh Smarties US we had and I forget their name, Trebor something?, Smarties I am talking about more easily translate to M&M's

I did notice that the US Sweet selection is much more limited, I had assumed it would be wider.

They look like Refreshers.

I think back in the 60's & 70's there was a larger variety in the states, at least that's how I remember it. I used to love going down the street to the corner store with my friends and loading up on penny candy & baseball cards. Then we'd go home and eat all our candy while trading or flipping cards.

I'm 53 and I eat them once in a while, usually around Halloween when all the candy is hanging around the house. I like them.

I love skittles!

Take skittles over M&Ms any day. They do have cute commercials though.

I agree. My wife and I still miss some of the sweets we had back in Israel.

As a late arrival to the conversation. I'm an old and I regularly eat Skittles, M&Ms, Snickers, Kit-Kats, and pretty much any other type of candy. I could probably live off of Dr. Pepper and Snickers, with Skittles thrown in as my daily intake of fruits.

I'm also getting fatter every day.
