How did u track it to know it will be delivered on dhl.com? Explain please

How can someone track application from nvc to embassy when on transit on ceac?

go to DHL.com

in the yellow box where you can track a shipment select "more tracking options"

next select "track by shipper's reference"

(this part is trial and error)

the reference will consist of ( "EXP" "day" "Month abbreviated" "year" "a or b")

Mine was (EXP 26 SEP2016A)

The day should be the day before the status changes to "in transit" My status changed on Sept. 27

The month and year can be together like mine or separated by a space like this; (EXP 26 SEP 2016A or EXP 26 SEP 2016B)

You will have to play with the space and combination of date and letter.

then select a date range to search, a few days before the status change and up to the date of the status change.

next select your Interviewing embassy country and click "track"

when you have the correct reference combination you will see a waybill or list of waybills for your country. look for one originating from Boston/Portsmouth with your country as destination.

Not sure where to post my question. Info was updated for Kingston consulate. Was it the cost and date of the medical?

I updated it. The price went up by about 5k and now the medical has to be booked 20 days in advance!!

Thank you, that's what I was understanding. Was relaying the info to my husband. We called the hospital and she said they require additional testing which takes an extra week to come back. The medical may not (most likely not) be back before the interview. And they didn't have any earlier dates.??? Just a little pissed to the 10th power!!! Not like we can do anything about it. But thank you for the quick reply!?

There is no way to know if a particular package is YOUR file. There are hundreds of cases shipped daily. Just because you saw one from Boston to your Embassy two weeks ago, there's no way to know if it is yours. It's just a guess.

I can say with 99.99% accuracy that the case you found was NOT your case. When your case status changes to "IN TRANSIT", it may not physically leave the NVC for up to three days after the status change. That's why you have to play with the dates and "guesstimate".

If your date changed to "IN TRANSIT" on September 28th, you should check the dates of the 28th, 29th and 30th (if they are weekdays). Do not check on dates PRIOR to that. It will not be your file.

And...even though you find a file within those dates (and you might find LOTS of shipments) there is no way to know the specific waybill for your file.

Your package will say "IN TRANSIT" until the Embassy scans in your file. In some countries, the place where the mail is delivered is in a totally different building from the embassy - and it takes a day to get there.

Good luck. Remember - there are packages for all sorts of visas being sent - not just IR-1/CR-1.

I believe the CDC recently discovered a new antibiotic resistant bacteria that causes gonorrhea, so the new testing is probably the gonorrhea test. :dead:

I was thinking the same thing when I saw that increase. Ridiculous!
