Hi to the rest of the thread I filed at the end of August but my notice date is the 2nd! I'm also waiting on a biometrics appointment for myself and my son!

There's no shaking each other off!!

Welcome, let's go crazy together again, from one train to the other.... here we gooooo!

I will not look back on this journey with fond memories, but I will look back knowing that every step was worth it, whatever the outcome.

For me it's $1490, but because I'm adjusting from an overstayed visa. I have to file I-130 which is $420 alone. Plus AOS which is $1070

12/03/19... I751 got transferred to NVC

12/07/19... Received BIO appointment letter for N400

12/27/19... Bio for N400

02/11/20... Interview scheduled for N400

Just got the bio letter for both me and my 10 year old son. Really sucks he has to go to!

Congrats!!! Mmm i thought if he was under 14 there was no biometrics?? But maybe I am wrong.

What is your biometrics date ? And how long ago did you send the AOS package ?

What is your biometrics date ? And how long ago did you send the AOS package ?

It is so really irritating because he'll miss school.

Kids have to do biometrics they just don't interview or sign under the age of 14 that's all!!! I'm going to have to take my bundle of pleasure and joy out of school too!!

No not normally they don't pay the bio either when under 14. But it's okay he'll go too.

Okay looked around and you may be right. When did they start that they haven't always done that?

Glad you looked around I don't tend to post something unless I'm sure of it, I also have a K2 under 14 so it's been integral to my research whilst going through K1 and AOS that I was aware of the process!

It's unusual for a child under 14 to be interviewed I expect this would be in exceptional circumstances!

Well I have been researching the process as well I don't know why I had the idea that he wouldn't be called for bio.
