I truly believe that you got married to a scammer. It will be just a matter of time for him to divorce you and bring someone from his home Country to live here with him, maybe his children's mom.

We saw so many cases like yours here, some scammers showed the true colors after getting the permanent GC, at least your husband showed why he is here since that he got here, if you ignored these HUGE red flags believe you would end up really hurt.

He might pretend that he "changed", but it's all part of the plan to get his GC.

Pearl..... How is things going?

I'm doing great now. We are doing good. I will dm you.

Good to hear! The advice you were given here was mostly negative but I do believe your instincts were correct in your approach to the issues, i.e. communicate with your spouse, challenge the words and actions that left you hurt or uncomfortable, get counseling. This marriage stuff is not easy. Add in immigration hassles and it gets more difficult. Add in children and exes and it gets even more difficult. Best of luck to you in the future.

I really appreciate your concern. I'm going to worry about what I can control only.

We are our choices. As an advocate for victims of domestic violence I would say if the victims decide to act just when something is happening then most of them would be dead.I don't see a victim of a scammer different than a victim of DV because at end they are abused in the same way just in different forms.

We don't have to wait for something to happen to take action, it's wise to see the red flags and act asap,it's in your hands

Good luck.

I agree
