Hey Guys, is there anybody else who is waiting to hear from USCIS after RFE sent in. I got a RFE on January 20th and sent what they asked for right away and they received it on 28th of January and haven't heard anything since then. I don't know what is taking so long. I see here a lot of people get approval in 2 weeks after RFE sent in but mine it's been more than 40 days.

We finally got approved on march 16. after a long time of waiting (they are received our documents on July 19.). We are happy, of course, but it took much longer than we expected (at least 3 months longer) and it leaves strange mix of feelings. At least we can continue with our journey.

Congratulations Gorstak and keep strong for the rest of the process !

We had news from our attorney yesterday. She said USCIS has been told to provide extra vetting... Still hopping though ...

We finally got approved after 263 days, actually it didn't change to "case was approved" but it changed to "case was sent to the department of state"

Our case status changed on exactly 60 days after our e-inquiry

260 days and counting. Is an e-inquiry the same as a service request?

recently received a email from USCIS on March 3rd after a service request was filed on February 2nd due to outside normal processing time.(PD July 1st)

email states... "additional review needed, case with an adjudicating officer will receive a decision or notice of further action within 60 days."

question.  does this mean 60 days from Feb. 2nd or from March 3rd?  just trying to plan the rest of my year.
