Hi, I'm from the Philippines and we have a Family Immigration status that is in process right now. My grandmother is the principal sponsor in Nevada and she's sponsoring my mom + me and my sister. (My dad passed away 2014 so my mom's status changed). All 3 of us already got approved. However, I have a 4 year old son who has special needs and cannot walk or even stand on his own yet. Will we be able to bring him with us? Currently, we're just completing the forms and will be taking the medical exam and interview soon. I really hope I can bring my son since he's still very dependent to me.

He is 4, he would be dependent on you.

So your Grandmother is petitioning your mother and you were a derivative, that would not include your chiud

hi

no, as of now there is no petition for him, that's why I said, when you come with your family, you will file a new petition for him

he will stay behind and you will file a new and unrelated petition, that takes around 2 years of waiting

does he have his mom or someone to take care of him in your country?
