My son has filed i-130, i 485 & i-765 (as one step filing - under parent of a US citizen). USCIS Chicago office has received these forms. NOA date is May 16, 2016; they also provided a receipt number. when I plug in that receipt number here <https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do> the web site it shows this message <My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered>. Can anyone tell me if in this case, am I tracking it too early or that they have not updated the website.

I have a question, please let me know if someone knows from their experience -

My US Citizen son has filed forms i-130, i-485, i-693 as 'one step' filing to Chicago Center on May 10, 2016. They have received those forms and have sent NOA with a priority date of May 16, 2016 to him and me stating that application is in process. Now, I am trying to check the status on this website https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do of these forms by plugging in the receipt number provided on those NOAs. I get this response <<My Case Status does not recognize the receipt number entered. Please check your receipt number and try again.>>. I want to find out if I am doing it too early or it is possible that USICS has not updated their website with my case status.

Thanks you all

Same with me but I sent my AOS papers. Already got my NOA1 in the mail a while ago but no status is showing. Possible reason is they are busy and haven't gotten around to input our cases in the online case status yet. The case is still processing normally, just not showing online which is frustrating cuz you don't know if any action is taken place until you receive it in the mail.

Let me know if it start showing. Good luck

RKX1101 - Can you please tell how long long ago (how may weeks) did you file your papers, I am trying to gauge the processing time after first NOA arrived.
