Oi Vey. Last post on this from me: I wasn't even talking to you, I was talking to JayJay. You decided to reply, which you often do and then it leads to week long arguments that normally end up with people getting banned. I am allowed to reply to what other posters are saying on the issue every now and again, more like every once in a blue moon with me, it is legal last time I checked. But I certainly am not the one starting those topics.

I gave you plenty of examples about racism and prejudice towards other people, not just black people. You choose to dismiss it because it doesn't fit your narrative. Because it wasn't your "pinpointed" precise example that you wanted, then apparently it doesn't count. Well, racism and prejudice come in all shapes and sizes and manifest themselves in all sorts of different ways, and it's crucial to understand that. That's the extent to which I was willing to play that silly game. Notice I am doing my best to be cordial with you, however, you are not doing the same which could explain why about 80% of the mod intervention in this place is "marv related". Anyway, while I do appreciate you pointing out my IQ yet again(for those who didn't see it the last 8 times), it's probably best to keep this off of personal levels. I can talk all day and night about how your "unique set of skills" doesn't impress me based on what I've seen from you in an online forum, but that's neither here nor there. I also find it funny that yet again you yourself mentioned several times just this week how not smart you think anybody who thinks different than you do is(While semi-cleverly labeling it under "Trump supporters") which is the exact type of post from another liberal I replied to many months ago(maybe a year or more?), briefly mentioning that there could actually be smart people on the other end(just as I don't think all libs are stupid), and you now do my work for me by bringing it up like twice a month. If you don't want to hear about other people's intelligence don't treat others like they are stupid. Seems to be what libs love doing is to say something bad or offensive about someone or a group of people or about their intelligence and expect them to not respond, but if they do respond, they'll bring it up constantly ater that for infinity, as if there was something wrong with it, in an attempt to shut people up and make them not respond. This tactic is as old as dinosaurs, doesn't really work in the real world though, and usually says alot more about the people doing it than the people they're doing it to.

Like I said, the horse from this conversation is already growing all kinds of stuff under the ground so there's really no point in continuing this.

We also already had the discussion about the different approaches on changing people's views and bias and the difference between what you and groups like BLM do and what Jewish people do to change perceptions, so there's no point in going into that again. I go through life every day without thinking even for a second, that somebody hates me or whatever because I'm Jewish or because I'm from Israel, rest assured not because it doesn't happen, but because I don't believe in it as a way of life. Hey look I will leave you with this though, and then I'm bowing out of this thread for the time being; going through the rest of your life thinking that everyone hates you because of your skin color, and that you are always discriminated against, or that anybody who votes different than you or thinks different than you is either stupid or racist - it's ultimately your choice to make. But if you ask me - that's no way to live.

Actually, my question was why you lost sympathy for the shooting victim. But since you're not going to answer it...

And for your other statement, no you didn't. Because I didn't ask you for examples of racism or prejudice. I asked for legislation that's been passed to hinder a group of people. You couldn't, that's why you posted what you did. As far as being cordial? Please, your comment about not being taken you seriously was asking for me to respond in kind. But unlike you, I don't have to insult a person to have this conversation. I didn't call you a racist, I made the comment that what you said (FTR it is, unless you can expound on it) is racist. Your anger towards a man who lost his life for a shooting that didn't even involve him is not warranted. If you can't see that, you're part of the problem

As for the 80%? That's because folks here can't keep their hateful remarks in check. Just like you do when you make blanket remarks about Libs. You're so eager to put someone down, you don't even realize how ignorant it makes you look when you step on your own toes just to take a shot at a person. You call me out about not being cordial, and then go and insult me in the same paragraph.

And I'm glad you go through life thinking that way. Not being shot or being harassed is a wonderful thing. I guess when you're on the other side of it, it's easier to turn your head.

Just quit before you implode. Ortiz just owned you. Some fights you will never win. Face it...the guy is basically a genius. Even if he never stated his is...he is clearly the most intelligent post in this forum. I don't agree with many of his beliefs, but it is a losing battle to take him on.

The whole point of this forum is for discussion. And discussions get heated from time to time. Especially when the topic is on race, politics, religion. I thought that was the point of having this place, to have these kind of talks. And to be honest, things need to be said in order for perspective to be obtained. I'm all about being politically correct since I can get a point across without attacking the person's core being, maybe that needs to be enforced more if we are going to have threads like this. Because if we're going to insinuate things about a person's skin color, sexual preference, or religion, and let it stick, you can't punish the ones who retort back in defense of themselves. Either stop it cold, or let it move unfettered in both directions.

You have a board that's 98% white, heterosexual, and Christian that gets excited when a thread has either black people or Muslims. That's your traffic right there. 2nd would be Clinton attack threads, 3rd Trump. The rest is other various topics. Instead of stopping the conversation, streamline it. If they can't do that, then stop posting those articles.
