Thank you.

I submitted 2 service requests one month apart and both came back saying we are under security check and they cannot move further in the process until that is complete and they cannot foresee how long this check might take to give us a time frame :/

I hear you!!! I have been waiting  for my RFE for 1.5 month now, and they just kept saying that the RFE would reach me within 30 days.

This is worrisome. Usually RFEs have a deadline by which you have to respond or have your I-751 denied. I don't want to panic you but it's really important that you get the RFE! Is it possible for you to confirm your address and have them send it again? I'd definitely make an InfoPass appointment about this!

Yes, I did that and 10 days ago I received a mail responding to my service request saying that they would send me another RFE and it would reach me within 30 days. I always got responses for my service requests within 2 weeks, but for some reason the RFE never comes.

Just wanted to post an update. Yesterday I checked my status on the USCIS site and finally good news! It says my card is being produced. I had called USCIS for the first time last week and spoken to a Tier 2 person and he told me my case was still pending (but didn't tell me why it's taking so long). I had filed my I-751 on June 27, 2016. But now I'm relieved that the wait is almost over and I will have my new green card soon!

02/2005 - We met

09/2013 - Got married

12/16/2013 - I-130 package sent to Frankfurt Consulate

12/18/2013 - Fee charged to credit card

12/23/2013 - Received NOA1

01/27/2014 - I-130 approved

01/29/2014 - I-130 Approval letter received

02/24/2014 - DS-260 submitted online

02/27/2014 - Package 3 sent to Frankfurt Consulate

03/11/2014 - Interview letter received (interview in mid-April)

04/15/2014 - Visa approved

04/19/2014 - Visa received

09/10/2014 - U.S. entry (became permanent resident)

06/27/2016 - Filed  I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence

07/08/2016 - Notice for biometrics appointment received

07/18/2016 - Biometrics appointment

10/27/2017 - Notice: New green card is being produced

Hi, all.

It is my first time writing in this topic. I am a June 2016 filer also still waiting for my GC.

My case is pending security checks. I am a bit relived to know I am not the only one

GC is not issued Because I thought I was the only one left from June 2016 filers.

I did contact Tier 2 in UCCIS last week and answer is not so hopeful as they won't tell me when I will get

my GC.

I sure hope all June filers cards will be issued soon!

Received a letter from USCIS on Friday. I've been called for an Interview.

Must admit I'm pretty disappointed. I know sometimes interviews are selected at random, but can't help but feel a little down that the letter wasn't to inform me of an approval.

I'm not too worried about the interview itself, I know my wife and I will breeze through it, but the worst part is that it isn't for another six weeks! Then, as far as I've read on here, you don't get an answer for a couple of weeks or so after that.

So looks like I have another couple of months to go before I can even hope for an approval. And now I have to gather a whole bunch of documental proof of our ongoing relationship all over again. This sucks.

: (

Just curious.  Did USCIS ask you to do another biometrics as I heard rumors that after 15 months the initial biometrics expires?

The interview letter did not mention anything about needing to redo the biometrics, and the letter is the only correspondence I have received from them.

So just another four weeks till the interview, which will hopefully put the wheels in motion for an approval after a (still ongoing) 17 month wait.

I feel you man! I filed on July 11th and got an RFE last week.  I feel our marriage couldn’t be more bona fide. We submitted a whole lot of evidence. But still, USCIS was so caught up on our lease. Because my spouse had a breaking lease record, he could not be put on the lease. Now we are stuck here waiting for our attorney drating an affidavit letter to attest the reason why he was not on my lease.

This might sound strange, but I believe you could contact your Congressman and ask them to intervene the process.

We reached out to our Congressman before while waiting too long during our 2 year GC process (same situation as you are in right now - RFE never came in the mail), and the problem got solved within a week or two.

I mean, it's worth a shot.
