ok I was wondering if anyone here knows (or maybe I should ask in the larger I-751 forum??)

DH just accepted an offer for a new job at a new company. He will start Nov 28. He will need to provide documentation for his legal working status. Does he share the expired GC and the NOA letter? I'm worried he might have some problems as this is a small company that hasn't worked with LPR. Ideally the new 10 year GC will arrive before his start date and we won't have to worry, but I just wanted to be prepared in case there is something we should do to ensure this goes smoothly

If he has an SSN that doesn't have the 'DHS Authorization..' notation, he doesn't have to show a green card when filling out the i-9. He can just combine the SSN with another government issued ID such as a drivers license and he should be fine.

~AOS : 09/11/2014 - 2 YR Green card received!.

~ROC 07/13/2017 - 10 YR Green card received!.

~N-400 : 10/28/2020 - N400 Interview & Approval/Oath Ceremony/US Citizen!

More Importantly, I am a proud Anti-Fascist!

I was looking at the timeline for Removal of Conditions, specifically for CSC, and I noticed that a May filer had an interview in September. They haven't yet, to my knowledge, put if they were approved or not and I'm not sure if they are in this particular thread or not. I just wonder if this is a sign that maybe we'll start hearing about interviews and or approvals soon.

I don't see anyone who said they had an interview?

They filed May 23rd at CSC. Their names are Gabriel and Emilee.

Also, there's a couple who filed in June who note that they were already approved. The randomness of USCIS is baffling sometimes.

Haven't heard anything for approval or anything? Any idea how many more months ? On USCIS website looks like they are still processing the OCT 2015 cases.

My hubby just started a new job at the end of September and I don't remember why, but he had to show his Green Card. So he showed his extension letter with it and HR just told him to show them the new green card once he gets it so they can update the files. It shouldn't be an issue at all. Congrats to your DH on the new job!

He should be carrying the NOA1 letter that shows his visa has been extended for 1 year and the expired GC. He will need to show them upon his return. The machines (kiosks) do not work with expired GC so he should go to the immigration personnel directly.

I'd like to use my awesome predictive powers to suggest that the traffic in this thread will start to build as soon as CSC reaches six months out. Closely followed by the complaint about RFE's (fingers firmly crossed)......

Best of luck to all - especially those not being processed by CSC.
