We sent ours out on Saturday :) I hate that we have to deal with USCIS again.

Anyone know about what timeline we are looking at? Website says 6 months but I no longer believe is on there! haha

And me - well actually it arrived yesterday. Does it normally take a while to get the NOA1 ? Surely all they need to do is open the envelope and log the case. Yehh - I'd forgotten what it's like dealing with USCIS :-)

I've seen some threads on here where people were waiting almost a month for NOA1 (especially at VSC) - when they called USCIS they said not to bother them unless you don't receive a NOA1 after a month.

From the previous stages usually the NOA1 was pretty quick as they do like cashing checks - probably the only step in the process that they do pretty efficiently.

Hi there,

I am getting my package ready to send early next week so I will be a May Filer too :)

I have a question, since my GC expires in a couple of months and the approval for the 10yrGC will likely take a longer time to be approved...how do I travel in and out of the country once my current GC has expired?

Day 1 - 04/05/2014 - Delivered!!!

Day 5 - 04/07/2014 - "Acceptance confirmation received for entire forms & routed to NBC" was sent via email.
Day 9 - 04/12/2014 - NOA for I-{130/AOS/EAD} Received.
Day 15 - 04/18/2014 - NOA for Biometrics appointment Received.
Day 26 -04/29/2014- RFE for I-485 received
Day 39 - 05/12/2014 - Responded to RFE
Day 39 - 05/12/2014- Biometrics app completed.
Day 55 - 05/28/2014 - I-485 status changed to "testing & interview" on USCIS website.

Day 74 - 06/16/2014 - Received email & text from USCIS about the shipment of Employment Authorization Card.

Day 75 - 06/17/2014 - Card in hand!!

Day 83 - 06/25/2014- Interview letter mailed. Interview scheduled for August 1.

Day 120- 08/01/2014 - Green card interview. Approved!!

Day 133- 08/14/2014- Green card received.
