Don't be scared. Try calling in and just ask for info. If they can't provide info over the phone, no worries, just wait for the mail. It shouldn't be more than a week.

Just breathe. They are obviously working on your case if the case status is updating. Worse thing is you will have to call USCIS for more information.

Like the case status says, you should call if you do not receive anything by the 30th of May. That is still quite a while away so I'm not sure where the urgency is.

You wait until May 6th for a hard copy. If you did not receive one, then you call them at the customer service number provided where you checked your case number. Is should say something like this

On April 6th 2016, we received your Form I-129F, Petition for Fiance(E), Receipt Number WACxxxxxxxxxx, and sent you the receipt notice that describes how we will process your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your receipt notice by May 5th , 2016, please call Customer Service at 1-800-375-5283. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I believe there is one month timeline to receive your notice, it not then you call the number.

Some people do not receive the NOA1 just because they failed to send it or the letter is misplaced maybe. But atleast your US petiioner received the email containing the receipt number since that is what you need to check your online status. About the status of your case, it can mean anything. Theyre right. You should try calling them. It doesn't hurt to try.

Because its forum etiquette. It is rude to ask a question on someone eleses thread. They should create their own just like you did. They probably just mean the noa1 hard copy.
