My advice is to spend time with your Friends and Family at home. I was SO eager to get approved that once it happened, (our whole k1 took 11 months) I was shocked at how hard it was to leave. Spend time with them and make plans and the days will pass fast and before you know it, you'll be approved. My NOA 2 took exactly 8 months.

K1 VISA

02.25.2015 - NOA1
04.08.2015 - Address Change
09.08.2015 - Case Assigned to an Officer

10.16.2015 - Official case status inquiry submitted by a tier 2 officer over the phone

10.20.2015 - NOA2 (F)

10.30.2015 - Case was sent to the Department of State

11.06. 2015 - Case was received by NVC

11.10.2015 - Case was sent to the Embassy in Vancouver (I called NVC)

11.16.2015 - Case was received by the Embassy in Vancouver

01.12.2016 - Interview (APPROVED)

01.18.2016 - Visa received

01.21.2016 - POE
03.25.2016 - MARRIAGE (L)

AOS

04.22.2016 - NOA1

01.18.2016 - Visa received

07.11.2016 - Employment / AP Card Approval

You are welcome to refer to my timeline. I came from Canada on a K1. It definitely didn't take 2 months.

Realistically be looking at 6-10 months to get through every process.

Noa1 feb 22nd. As of today there hasn't been an RFE.

There hasn't been anything. Did my k1 app disappear into a black hole?

Is there anything else I can do to at least get information on my case? USA imm App also says nothing since February 22nd.

One VJ member just got approved for NOA2 yesterday 4/26. Their NOA1 was received on Feb 10th. It seems like USCIS is running behind but not by much. 60 to 90 days wait for NOA2 is not bad at all...be Patient and yours might be coming soon...

Honestly the best thing you or anyone else going through the process can do is to NOT give yourself an expectation of when you should be receiving something. I know that is hard to do especially since this site pretty much advocates for you to create a timeline to compare to other people to help give you a better estimate of how long each step should be. But in all honesty, you will drive yourself crazy and torment yourself that other people around the same time you sent your forms in or even later are going on to the next phase while you must continue to wait. That pretty much spells frustration and you feel like something should be done until you hear that other people have waited almost twice as long as you and have heard nothing. Just view the processing time for the center that has your documents. If it runs past the estimated time then request an inquiry so you can get a status update to make sure your paperwork wasn't lost somehow. Other than that I wouldn't pay attention to anyone who tells you it should take "x" months. Because no one is right or wrong in what they say but it all varies by case...not countries or date submitted...so it's impossible for anyone to tell you how long exactly everything will take.

I guess we have to wait longer now too. Oh well. We just have to be patient.

@street you're right on. It's just frustrating in that fiancée worked USA 8 years, paid taxes and was denied at border last time. (No crimes) In order to visit I have to go there. And for $340 shouldn't we at least get updates?

Have you looked at rigor's list?? There are many at the same date still waiting or just got approved.

And no there aren't any updates. The $340 is only a very small start of the cost ;)
