I'm always scolding my kids' godfather for swearing around the kids. This ###### moron can't ###### help himself. what the #### is wrong with him?

My always talking like that. How do you keep your kids from swearing when they go home to their mother who can't keep the foul language out of her mouth? Oh well, at least they knew it wasn't allowed around my house, I'd kick the fers butts if they used it.

One of my old fillings just broke. ####.

I thought one of mine had too, but when I got to the dentist, it was my tooth. :cry:

Man have you no friggin idea.....

a friend of mine is an atty for the SEC, he estimates that we don't even catch 0.1% of the criminality taking place in the financial market....

Maybe it's the tooth tho... could be. We have decent dental tho.

On this middle Earth, there is no such a thing as a "decent" dental plan.....

Speaking of middle earth, happy Earthday, ya tree hugging libs.....

I do have an idea. Its part of the reason we can't get decent representation in this country any longer.

We have a fan in our bedroom. It's been on the ceiling for who knows how long... 15.. 20 years? A few days ago it started humming, followed by slowing down and reversing it's spin in the opposite direction. Well, I figured it's either possessed or broken. Let's get a new one I said. No, he argues. The husband, being so practically stubborn and Mr. Fix-It decided he was going to get up there and start fiddling with the electrical components (I was not happy at the potential of electrocution..or the hole in the ceiling with a now-dangling fan), and discovered the capacitor had blown up. It's has some random writing on it of some gibberish, and is so outdated we could only find a few sort-of but not quite identical copies online. No, he insists, we don't need a new fan, we will find a new capacitor. Surely one of the numerous hardware and electrical shops here will have it, he says. This is America, they sell everything, right? Every single store said no, they don't sell a tiny electrical component that costs all of $5. One even acted like he was some scary foreigner that had just asked for nuke codes.

Honey, I said. Can we just buy a new fan (still worrying he will electrocute himself installing it)?

No, he's still insisting, we'll order it online. I'm waiting for the fan to blow when he tries to install it...
