Quick question for the peeps here, I plan to mail mine this coming Monday. The fee is $505 only, right? I applied for my conditional green card two years ago after getting married in the US.

Hi!

No, The fee is 505 USD plus 85 biometrics fee so make sure you write the check for 590 USD otherwise they will not accept your application.

  • hello all april filers.! my package is ready to mailed tomorrow morning. I'm a little bet nervous and worried because we don't have more evidence, here is my proof inside on my package, I-751 form, my 2year GC front in back copy, a copy of our joint account both names, a copy of life insurance that wife is benificiares, 2 copies of our tax return, a copy of memorandum dental and vision insurance included wife name and pictures on vacation with family. I'm afraid if this evidence is enough. we don't have any kids in our own we don't have USC statement of affidavit we both worried. please advice if this papers that we have is enough.? thank you and good luck all. godbless

Hi Honeypie! You have some good evidence, but it is a little skimpy, I think. Put your thinking cap on, and see if you can come up with some more - like driver's licenses with the same address. What mail comes to your house that has both your names on it? Do you own or rent your home? How is your home paid for? Do you have renters or homeowner's insurance with both your names on it? Do you have an automobile? Are both of you on the insurance? You need to submit multiple bank statements of your joint account FROM THE TIME OF YOUR MARRIAGE - not just one statement. Some people submit EVERY page of EVERY statement. I didn't. I just submitted a copy of the month we married (with my spouse's former name) and one of the month after we married (showing that she changed her name) and then quarterly statements up to the time we submitted our evidence.

Do you have plane tickets from your vacation? A statement from a hotel with both your names?

Do you two have wills or medical powers of attorney? Do you have time to get those done?

We didn't submit affidavits either, but we had pretty clear financial evidence.

thank you for your reply SUKIe, honestly we don't have drivers license both same address coz I didn't drive, we don't have any utility bills even mobile bills with both of our names, only my USC husband on our bills. we don't own house or anything my husband renting a house before we meet and get married. we don't have plane tickets on our vacation last year because we just drive a car together with husband family. that's why I'm a little bet worried to send my package. anyway, we have bank statement copy since 2014,2015 and this year. so worried of this
