You are going through a high fraud Consulate, the totality of your case is what matters.

A late card is not that relevant.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Communications much be frequent , why not buy phone cards to call her, why not contact her by Skype

also you should try to have her come there when your interview since that consulate is very harsh, do

you have photos with other ppl in them, how much time have you spent together? Couples wanting to

be together communicate a lot due to anxious need to be together....why cant you instant msg....It

could look like a biz arrangement & not bonafide

I agree, you will need much more evidence than that if you want to be approved. As previously stated Ghana is a high fraud consulate. Do you not call her either? You can call your wife directly from your line in Ghana while she would have to purchase a calling card and it's more expensive calling from the US to Ghana. Please try to collect as much evidence as possible if you want to be approved. Make an effort to call your wife so that you can use the call log as extra evidence. Good luck to you!

I would get all chat logs, Skype or whatever you use to see and chat with your wife. My husband and I use Face-time and I screen cap and then print it out with the date. Ghana is very difficult so have a lot of evidence for the CO. It's better to have to much than not enough. Also receipts for sending gifts, travel documents and passport stamps.

Good Luck

i think any form of communication would be helpful in your case whether its FaceTime, phone calls, or even an app that allows you two to talk to each other...I also believe that photos of you two in multiple events would show that you have actually spent time with her (photos of the marriage ceremony are good but again, who doesn't have pictures at the wedding?) overall think about any evidence that would prove the immigration officer that you're constantly in touch with her

I agree it is the totality of the case that counts.

For example, if she visited you 5 times, for a month each each time, and brought her family and met your family, and you can prove that, then phone calls and letters etc are much less important then if you only met once or twice for a week.

If money is the issue with calling may I suggest using an app called viber or whatsapp, me and my husband communicate through out the day with these apps, I know your network can be a little trying at times over there but me and my husband do good with those apps, I also have international calling on my phone plan so of the network is down I call him directly or he calls me even if it's only for a few minutes, you have to realize that your going to the embassy to prove to a stranger that your marriage is real! Let your wife know this also, this is a very tough Emabssy look at what you have as evidence and ask your self is this enough to show a stranger that my marriage is real, how often has my wife been able to visit, pictures of you and her with family and friends, letters of acknowledgement from your family and hers about the approval of your marriage these are just a few things, remember tough embassy!
