Hello,

My fiance (beneficiary) is wondering if she can just digitally sign (or scan a printed and signed) her G325-A and Fiance's Letter of Intent to Marry?

We want to speed up the process to send out the packet and don't want to wait on snail mail from another country.

Is this acceptable?

Thanks!

(P.S. Yes, I need to fill out my timeline! Will do that soon!)

If you want a RFE, you can definitively do it. Forms and letters must be original. Supplied documents can be copied.

What i did was i had my fiance scan her g325a with the signature. She did the same with the letter of intent to marry but she got it notorized. I ended up printing them out and sent that in. Still waiting for a reply from CSC. My fiance has a friend that did the same exact thing and she got her visa in december. Ive been looking online and i realize that i just gambled getting an RFE.

actual signatures are required I believe, although I do think some people get lucky and just get approved anyway. I wouldn't risk it, since there are options to have mail sent quickly anyway.

The I-129F instructions do not state they need an original signature. Have not seen an RFE for original 'wet' signatures from foreign fiance(e) in the last few years. All of this was just discussed once again in this thread from a few months ago > http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/575780-letter-of-intent-to-marry-rfe/

My fiance scanned to me as well so we'll see if I get an RFE...Doesn't Texas lockbox scan to CSC anyways?
