I hope all goes smooth for you!! Were you told they would require an additional 30 days to review the case? You were at least notified by email. We got a checklist as well and never got an email (or snail mail). Had we not called for an address change, we wouldn't have found out about our missing doc.

Thanks same to you!

Yes it will be another 30 days from this scan date of 3/9 .

So sad right now, called NVC and we were told we got check-list yesterday for my Birth certificate & Divorce decree. Both of which we sent as part of our IV package. I am so freaking gutted rite now. The lady said sending again might be a lot quicker than supervisor review which takes about another 42days.

Why all these heartache? Why?

I'm so sorry to hear that, I know you must be fuming... But resend them quickly because I called today- and the fellow seemed quite pleased to tell me, I will have to wait another 30 to 45 days for the new document that they received from me yesterday (police record), to be reviewed... ???.... This policy makes no sense, but it's their policy, so send it fast and keep your fingers crossed its reviewed sooner..

I so feel you pain. It's all BS that they suddenly lose your docs. When we called this morning to confirm if they got round 2 of my BC, we got rep Joanie; so rude and unfriendly! Did you get an email after you were told about your checklist? NVC issued our checklist on March 3 and still no sign of email or regular mail. She had the audacity to be annoyed with us emailing the doc when they still haven't, until today, emailed us and she admitted to it. Don't wait for the letter. Mail your docs asap.

Many thanks for words of encouragement, My Wife is at work and she has printed them out again with IV cover letter to re-send out before close of play today. It is just not fair. I hope they dont extend this recklessness to their verdict on people's applications. Hence wrongly denying people visa :(

No way! That would be completely unconstitutional. The people over the phone are not the officers reviewing our cases. I'm an immigration atty here in Canada and we play by pretty much the same rules. Don't be sad :)
