Yup, me again with more questions...sorry to bother you guys so frequently

1. Got my case# friday and submitted the DS 261 right away. On here i´ve got told that i can have them review it with me over the phone. Can i do that at any time or do i have to wait for a certain period of time?

2. I see that some ppl send in their AOS & IV paperwork early on; as in before the IV bill is paid for example. So does that mean it doesn´t really matter when we send in the paperwork (or e-mail it since EP is an option for us too)?

Sorry if those are stupid questions but i just wanna get through NVC as quickly as possible and don´t mess anything up. Thanks in advance

You have to be looking at someone else's spreadsheet. Or did you mean no one lately on the spreadsheet?

I know right now Algeria is at 7 months. But many of the Algeria people I have went transferred to the embassy from others thus why you don;t see recent and frankly most don;t update their timeline and I can't be chasing folks who don't want to bother.

yes all I see are ones from yemen. I'm getting nervous that it would take 7 months to get an interview. One girl I'm friends with , her husband is algerian and she said it took her like 6 weeks( if my memory is correct) I really need my husbands income to help me. I started a business and we all know how the first year of that goes. I feel stressed out... uggh and I definitely wasn't looking at this one, it had to be someone elses. You can review it , just call nvc. I never did and my fee didn't unlock. I read u can send packets after aos fee is paid to save time. Since I was waiting on that fee to unlock, then process I sent mine in to do this. Cause I knew in a week it would process and then I could do the ds260 after it unlocked. I also had my packets ready prior so it was not so stressful to send them at that time. Edited March 6, 2016 by FarrahIdir

Awesome, thanks. I guess i will call NVC then once the status of the AOS fee changes to "paid". My documents should arrive at my husband´s on thursday the latest and he has his financial docs all gathered so i guess we´ll also go for that "save time" approach. Again, thanks for your feedback!

The majority of us don;t have EP as an option. There's only a select few of you that actually get EP.

It's only been since December (for Canada) that EP processing was so fast. It use to be slower than mailing in. For Frankfurt have no idea. It's a choice I wish everyone had because doing this mailing of vital documents is ridiculous we all should have the option to scan.

Do you know if the NVC allows EP for someone supposed to be interviewed at the London embassy? I live in the UK.

Aww, thank you :-) Good to know I'm not the only one there. I frequently check the NVC website to make sure I haven't overlooked anything. Don't know what I would do without this forum here. Everybody is so helpful and the advice and info I'm getting in here is pure gold!
