How to check on nvc site the status change?

It's been 3 days since case complete.. But I duno see Anythg else?

It can take weeks.

I don´t know if the stopped doing interview dates for now or there are next week also.

But they normally only do date start and end months.

So hang in, you may even miss the "in transit" when it goes to Embassy.

Hi All--

Does anyone know what "Ready" means in the CEAC website? Based on my readings, it should mean that the case is ready for interview and that the "actual" papers are already with the US embassy here in Manila. We also already received an email from NVC telling us of when the interview date is, however when we called US Embassy, I was told that our papers are not physically received yet by the US Embassy.

We called USEM to check if the papers are already there and if we can get an earlier schedule since Im already done with Medical exam and my papers are ready.. Is there a way to track as to where the actual papers are at the moment?

Thank you in advance!

Was able to get letter from US embassy today telling that they are done reviewing our papers. We were also able to get an earlier schedule date, from March 23, we are now scheduled next week March 10!! :)

First post on first page ;)

What do the different CEAC Visa Status Check mean?

At NVC - NVC has your case and its not done or waiting to the shipped to a Embassy

In Transit - The case has been entered into the DHL shipping system. It does NOT mean the case has physically left NVC yet. It can be up to three days after the case has been entered into DHL's system before it actually starts to travel.

Ready - The case has arrived and been scanned in at the Embassy/Consulate's mail room. It does NOT mean that a Case Officer has picked up to the case to start looking at it. Some Embassy/Consulates have a mail entry point that is not physically located at the Embassy/Consulate itself.

Administrative Processing - We all will have to go to AP, this is either be curse the need more from you, but also it will be AP when they make the Visa.

Returned to NVC - I have seen this sometimes and why they would return it to NVC i don´t know

Issued - The embassy has sent your Passport to Visa printing. Some are ready for pickup when this status is shown.

The hubby was able to go thru and confirm the return information for his passport yesterday once the interview is all done with. Last Friday I requested my 2015 tax transcripts online from the IRS and they showed up yesterday. Needless to say we are already good to go for this interview. His medical is next week then we swing by the dr's office the day before the interview to pick up the results. Now the waiting game begins.. already found some cool record stores and local craft beer joints in Montreal to hit up that Saturday so it's shaping up to be an amazing weekend.

Haha! My pleasure! There are two that I am aware of but one really stuck out as the winner for me.

L'Amere a Boire is one of them,

The other is Le St-Bock which is where we are gonna go. From their website, they have a pretty huge selection on tap, not to mention quite a few sours which I really love. I've been chatting with someone who works ay Au Pied de Cochon about all things Montreal and these were the recommendations. I loooove good beer so it's a no brainer that we will end up there.. lol
