Good luck to everyone on your upcoming interviews and Congratulations to All who were recently approved.

My husband and I are finally home in the US !! POE was last night in Baltimore.

I just posted my Belizean embassy review, word of Funny advice, Do Not use paperclips on your documents in Belize. I had about 15 or so to keep documents sorted out and security had to remove every single one, as we just stood there and watched him. It really showed me how OCD I am about organization.

Also, I just wanted to say Thank you again to everyone for their help and support through this process.

Without VJ we would have never been as prepared as we were nor had such a smooth case.

Okay now I get your post of the walking you did. I was like why is he posting how far it is to the embassy. I get. Well now you have to stay here and put in some work to help pass the time. ;)

he he yes, i was not in the mood to share at that point.

The embassy was only 15-20 min walk away, so that was okay.

I'm sorry this happened to you Soeren. Like someone else said, you had an unusual situation where your date changed last minute and you had to have everything ready in a rush and under these circumstances, it is human to err. You will receive the visa soon, take this time to tie loose ends and have it all ready for when the visa comes.

Don´t be sorry for me, I just hope the rest of you don´t do the same error as me. So if i can be the only on, that is fine for me :)

Congratulation to you both. You must be so happy to have him home.

I always flew to the US through Dublin. There is not a lot of plane going to the US, so there is less queue there for custom and I love flying with Aer Lingus, price are cheap too.

Congratulation to you both.

My wife interview on april 15, 2016 n i was going to file a tax return for 2015 after interview, but I have to file as married in tax return but don't have SSN for my wife ( don't want to file ITIN number because they need her passport to get ITIN number), so I'm going to file an extention now so i can do tax return later once she come here,

is that only option I have?

As far as I feel, you can give her proof of income from last year, i.e. a 1099 or W-2

I have an interview on 11th April and will be taking 1099 of my wife.

they can only ask for tax forms after 15 April, so if you want to wait then , send her scan copy of your proof of income for last year and that should be good

I am super OCD with organization, how am I supposed to keep these forms organized and separated so they are easy to hand over!? Any suggestions?

Paperclips are fine. No issues in Canada whatsoever.

PHEW! Oh thank goodness! I am so strict on keeping all of these documents organized, both for our sanity and the sake of the CO's. lol

Glad to know Canada is okay with them!! Don't want to do anything to upset the powers that be! :goofy:

Well i miss read it :(

I had paperclip on all my papers and it was i a plastic binder.

So it must be a local Embassy thing.

They never gave me problems about it.

I was thinking about staples.

Thank god Canada is down with the clips! I have everything paperclipped, some even have 2. My husbands CO is definitely going to get restocked after his interview haha.
