Hi everyone,

I haven't had ANY updates and my biometrics was April 22nd - Is there a number I can call to see where my case is at? I'm getting very upset as everyone else has seemed to have received their EADs and APs and they had their bios after me. I am following the K1 process.

Hi 6

I don't think you are that far behind in all honesty, your bio was only a month ago and it's rare that anyone completes the whole process in the following 4 weeks.

One ray of sunshine is that most people who are going to receive an RFE will have done so based on your own timeline.

The USCIS phone number is under my timeline if you want to take a look. You might not get very helpful information from them since they will say everything is accirding to scheduled timelines but at least it will feel like you are trying to move your case on.

Thank you for responding so quickly! I actually just called and i found the number on your timeline, so thank you for posting that - very helpful. I managed to get through to an actual person after pressing several numbers eventually I just selected the option to report a problem and a very helpful gentleman was on the other end of the line. He assured me that I should be hearing from them shortly, but I will certainly hear from them in June if not May. He said nothing was listed for an RFE on my account anyway. So fingers crossed.

No RFE's or anything in the mail - I have been checking so much that I even go on Sunday's and then realise it's Sunday :(

I'm sure its the same for everyone else, but I am starting to go coo coo waiting for this employment card! I have started fostering animals to help pass the time - I'd also like to make a point to everyone on here ( SO NOT VISA RELATED ) BUT if you are looking to do something with your time, it is currently kitten season and MANY shelters will be looking for fosters otherwise unfortunately many will be euthanized. Just thought I'd let everyone know that it's an option, just in case!

Good question!

There seems to be so many more contaminants in the air. Mold, oak etc etc. I've been lucky I think with no affects.

However one thing I will guarantee you... There will be an endless supply of medical professionals willing to relieve you from these ailments haha

Morning everyone,

We got an electronic notification on 4/19 that an RFE (request for INITIAL evidence) was being mailed out to us - and we still have not received it (will be 30 days tomorrow).

I've called the USCIS # several times but have never figured out how to talk to a human being.

Can anyone please give me some tips on how to get on the line with an actual person. The prompts seem to just lead in a circle - SOOOO frustrating!

The good news is that we received the EAD card last week, which was completely unexpected. I had thought that a request for initial evidence put everything on hold. I guess not. No complaints though. :)

Thanks!

Kim (& Liam)

Call and follow the prompts to the main, except pick the option of "lost reciept number/don't have receipt number" instead of the option you normally would, and you will get a human that can help you out. I think it's 1-1-2-3, the order of options but not 100% sure. Edited by sparkles_

Looks like we're on the same boat, but I had my biometrics earlier than you on April 15th. Tried to submit a service request but wouldn't allow me as it's still within the USCIS processing times. I'm also following the K1 process which was super fast for us. You can try call the USCIS customer service but I doubt they will tell you anything if you call before it's been 90 days.

That sucks! I'm on day 69 so I'll be able to submit a request next week I guess...although another potential 15 days to wait for a reply that's probably not gonna be very helpful is not great lol.

There's always wishing haha. At least your interview has been scheduled :( for me nothing's been updated since March 14th! Just starting to go a little nuts. Can't clean the house enough to keep me busy hah.

Hi everyone ,

I am adjusting my status from F-1 visa ( still valid till february 2017) through marriage with a US citizen. So far, our process was quick comparing to other cases. We are filing in Buffalo, NY. My question is , if the interview goes well , can the IO stamp my passport right away? and how fast can we receive the GC ? We have plenty of proof for our marriage, we've been living together for 3 years, he travelled with me to my country to meet my family , my family as well as his family visited us,joint bank accounts , plenty of pictures and flight tickets together. .We are hoping to travel soon and as you can see , we have an interview scheduled already but still did not hear anything about AP and EAD.

Thank You !
