Hello all!!! Finally I've sent this package...It took so long but it's done...now it's just wait (worst part). I would like to THANK everybody here for the promptly answers and share fears that I had too....Without you guys I don't think I would be able to do it....

Good luck!!! I would also still be sitting here scratching my head if I hadn't found this site. I sent my I-129F this week, too.

I agree, I would have been completely lost and confused. The USCIS website is not very helpful and really does not have complete information. Certainly not the support and encouragement.

02/17/07: I-129F Sent to NSC

02/23/07: I-129F NOA1

02/28/07: I-129F NOA2 (found out while checking on-line)

03/02/07: Received hard copy NOA1

03/08/07: Received hard copy NOA2

03/13/07: NVC sent packet to La Habana

03/27/07: Telegram "sent" to fiance to pick up packet 3... never received

04/02/07: I contacted the "embassy" to find out status of case and set up pick up date

04/04/07: Fiance picked up packet 3

04/05/07: I called toll-free # here to set up appointment for my fiancé

05/10/07: Interview scheduled for 7:30AM... Visa Approved!!!!!!!!

05/14/07: Picks up passport/visa and brown sealed envelope

05/15/07: Paperwork for the carta blanca turned in

05/24/07: Carta Blanca received and bought plane ticket

06/04/07: Entry into the US... together again!!!!!!!

08/07/07: MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys were all lucky that you found VJ prior to I-129F application. We've already mailed ours when I joined here. I was a frequent "Guest" and "Anonymous" way back 2005 :D but I just love reading posts and didn't realize that one day, I will be part of this community. Nevertheless, things went ok with our paperwork and we're almost half-through the entire K1 journey.

Good luck to you! It's going to be a tough wait but it helps to think that you're not alone here.

Yes today I send mine as well but I've suddenly come down with a nasty case of OCD and cant stop opening the envelope to make sure I dotted an i or crossed a t. GAWD IF I CAN JUST MAKE IT TO THE POST OFFICE I WILL BE ABLE TO BREATHE!
