"Status Updated - 2/17"

I bet ya your case file left NVC either 2/14 or 2/15. They shipped you out and you arrived 1 week after interview assignment.

So I guess the 2 to 3 week theory or the 10 days as they aid at the Lawyers meeting is bunk. :protest:

Well long as it's there. Are you going to request an earlier date since your case is now there?

No we aren't since our interview is 2 days after my birthday and the day before Good Friday. We are just going to make my trip to Canada a B-Day, hopefully an interview approval, and Easter Celebration trip all wrapped into one. :)

What you bring depends on what you have already sent in. More evidence at least up to date evidence since you filed. This is the time to whip out the photo album. Don't forget the original forms. Copies of your AOS package. And re-verify your Interview letter checklist to make sure nothing is forgotten.

If you have filed 2015 taxes you will need a whole new AOS package for interview. Every bodies to take to interview is different. You may not be asked for anything you may be asked for everything or things you didn't think of. Be prepared.

have you read the Interview reviews and what people have reported?

Do you need to bring medical ?

Here they mail it to the embassy.

If they mail yours directly to the embassy then you're good. Otherwise you need to bring it. I received my medical back a couple days after the exam.

A little more precision...

In Transit - The case has been entered into the DHL shipping system. It does NOT mean the case has physically left NVC yet. It can be up to three days after the case has been entered into DHL's system before it actually starts to travel.

Ready - The case has arrived and been scanned in at the Embassy/Consulate's mail room. It does NOT mean that a Case Officer has picked up to the case to start looking at it. Some Embassy/Consulates have a mail entry point that is not physically located at the Embassy/Consulate itself.

Since your date is on 4/15, I'd recommend just filing and including the updated I864's. That way you know 100% you'll be in the clear vs. hoping the CO doesn't want to see 2015 stuff.
