Case Complete to Interview March 2016

Hey guys thanks for best wishes! Visa approved ????????????. Interview went so smooth. I got the 2nd number token and my interview was also the 2nd one. They asked me the name of my in laws and where they live, about my husband's job, his date of birth and wedding pics and after all this he said that your visa is approved. I asked him twice and even asked the guard while leaving ? Now my status is being shown 'issued' and he said that i will be getting my passport in 10 days. So when should i expect to get it back?

Congratulations. You'll get your visa within 10 days but usually it seems to be faster than that.

I can not find in your link any thing related to what you said "Now some countries proactively go ahead and release all dates for next month at once and some bigger embassy like India and Canada like to wait for the visa bulletin schedule to plan".

Where did you see that the visa bulletins have a role on how IR1/CR1 slots are assigned by the embassies or some embassies?

Sorry if i was not clear in my post. This statement came from after i talked to embassy personal at New Delhi regarding why i am not getting interview date as CR/IR cases are outside visa number limit imposed by USCIS and DOS. According to them they regularly monitor the load on embassy and release date periodically to minimize wait time for completed cases. That is the reason you see New Delhi embassy just release date out of blue there is no pattern. Now NVC only sends date and schedule interviews twice a month i.e. Second week of month and last week of month.

the visa bulletin does not affect IR/CR cases directly but the priority date plays a big role in interview scheduling. Since embassy like India, China, Mexico etc are very much busy embassy there are lots of pending cases so there could be that some cases not of CR/IR type are already completed before your and NVC waits for visa bulletin because that would give them clear picture how many other visa types priority date will become current and then based on there place in queue they start assigning dates....this is especially true for India both New Delhi and Mumbai embassy and consulate. So i hope i get a interview letter soon....i am almost tired of this process now....

Ok, cool, I understand now your point. I am pretty sure the visa cases under visa bulletins outnumber the IR1/CR1 cases and the busiest embassies need to establish a balance between IR1/CR1 cases and due or overdue current cases of other categories, therefore they can not guarantee slots to IR1/CR1 cases within a fixed amount of time after CC because they do not want to backlog too much current cases that have been waiting for years.

Ok, cool, I understand now your point. Visa bulletin is out today.... Hopefully interview scheduling will start either today or in next 2-3 days....Anyways i send an expedite request to New Delhi, embassy in India for my case to give me a date ASAP if possible since my case is complete and my wife is right now going through medical treatment and i want her to be here so we can be together as i cannot keep on going back because of my job here in states....let's see what happen....either i will get date by NVC or may be embassy will accept my case for expedite and we can continue to interview... I am praying to god that it helps me at least this time...

Hello.... I would like to know when they finish assigning interviews for March. I am from dominican republic,my case was completed in january 29 of 2016
