ERRORS ON DS-260 help!!

My husband interview is next week , I was so excited and now I feel devestated ?. Went to pick up docs withe the migration services that assisted me with filing everything and notice they put that my husband kids live with him ?and that's false , he has kids but they live with their mother . My husband wasn't married prior to marrying me FYI I am so scare they will denied our application . Is there anything I can do on my end to correct that error ?

I suggest you call them as soon as possible. It depends on the type of error. I made myself some error on my DS 260 and the rep told me to send an email through the website. I saw some others were asked to indicate the error during the interview. Contact them to see if they can unlock it or maybe your embassy.

They don't look that carefully on the DS-260. I'm sure a question about your husband's children will come up at the time of interview and then he can give them the right information.

This is something he can correct at interview. Once closed it's rare to open the DS-260 and fix anything. You had a year in which to make sure the answers were correct the first time. But people do make mistakes (and use lawyers and services who make more mistakes) and the DOS is aware of that. It won't cause him to be denied especially if he's upfront about correcting the issue and why the error was made.
