Hi VJ,

Just wanna ask how long does it take to have the AOS be approved? I got my travel and Employment case approved already but when I check my AOS status it's said that it was ready for schedule for interview since Nov,2015 until now I haven't received any letter from them. Do I have to call them and ask some updates or wait for the said letter to come? I'm sacred that they might send it already and I didn't get it.?

Hope u can help me out on this. Thank you.

It depends on the caseload at your local office; some people have to wait 6-8 months or longer for an interview slot to open up.

Me: Irish/ Swiss citizen, and now naturalised US citizen. Husband: USC; twin babies born Feb 08 in Ireland and a daughter in Feb 2010 in Arkansas who are all joint Irish/ USC. Did DCF (IR1) in 6 weeks via the Dublin, Ireland embassy and now living in Arkansas.

We received our green card about 60 days after the EAD. See my timeline below. But, I must point out that we did not have an interview. It may be the same for you that you will not have an interview and the GC will be sent directly to you. I'd give a few more weeks before you go into full panic attack.

Hello McLez,

How long before you're travel and AED got approved?

Just like the VJ stats: http://www.visajourney.com/timeline/ illustrates, and everyone says in the forum, 60-90 days for AP (I-131) and EAD (I-765) approval.

YMMV.

Thanks Pitaya and McLez, till now the status of my AED is still "received" :( . Aside from waiting, is there anything I can do to get it asap?

In the meantime you could fill in your timeline !!! Wait 75 days and do a service request online.

@ neoblast, it will be 90th day this March 8. Can you help me how to do service request online? My status for change of citizenship as of Feb 2 has been the same " case is ready to be scheduled for interview"its almost a month now yet theres no movement on that.Same as with my AED "case was received" its been like that since the time they received my application. I know that I need to wait, but why it takes too long?
