Do I need a police certificate for IR/CR1 immigration to be sent along with my IV package. I am a Pakistani national

If yes, I have lived in couple of different cities since the age of 16, so I need to get one from all the different cities ?

Is there anyone who didnt send their police certificate and didnt get a checklist ?

Where are you living, have you ever lived outside of Pakistan? If so you may need a police certificate from the other countries you have lived in. Police certificates are NOT required from Pakistan. An yes several people have sent in their papers to the NVS without a police certificate from Pakistan and have been approved.

No it is not, there is no centralized police system in Pakistan, that is why there is no need for the police clearance

Also I have lived in different cities because of my education.. so if i do send a police certificate I need to get it made from the places I lived in temporarily ?

You DO NOT need any police certificate from Pakistan, do not waste your time or energy getting them

That's why people who go through the process there tend to go through AP and more security screenings. The background check from the USCIS is normally on the petitioner btw. They occasionally start the screening on beneficiaries at that time though if necessary.
