I don't know if USCIS is working today, due to the holiday long weekend.

Today is a business day. Monday is the Holiday and Government here in the states will be closed.

Hello all! Sent off our packet last Friday (1/8)... It's been over a week and it's still pending delivery but we are staying patient. Paid for a signature delivery so maybe that's what's holding it up. My fiancé is from the UK and I'm the USC.

For anyone who didn't know. Monday is a public holiday and I know the post offices are closed, so might be that they aren't processing anything on Monday too. I'm not sure on that, but since the post offices are closed for a holiday you would think the USCIS would be too.

Hey guys! Sending my packet off Monday hopefully ? I feel I need to redo my declaration how we met. It's only a paragraph, I heard should be as much detail? Also wrote n/a on the g325a and saw that n/a shouldn't be used when you can use none? This true? I have a copy of my birth certificate, but when copying it it shows up with void in it. Heard not to worry about it...or try scanning it. I hope we do this right! We can't wait to be together again. My kids are super excited and we just want to be a family.

We sent it with USPS. I have been tracking it and it's been "departed" since the 14th. Expected delivery date was the 15th and now it's just showing delayed. "USPS Latest Status: Departed Dest Facility 01/14/2016 7:58pm DALLAS TX 75398 Reply HELP 4 help-STOP to cancel" ... Nothing since.

I would call the post office and ask them then.

Unfortunately you will have to wait until Tiuesday due to the holiday on Monday

Getting a delayed message is not a big thing. They could have run into canceled flights or ground delivery through bad weather or some other issue. Usually, it get delivered the next business day (baring there is no holiday). So for you, I suspect it will be Tuesday.

I also saw from the timelines the estimated NOA2 date is around the end of Feb, but I ran a search of case number on USCIS and October files for I-129 aren't even done yet. I only went back so far on the case numbers.

I finished putting my packet together this evening (Sun) and will be sending tomorrow via FedEx overnight for delivery on Tues, 1/19/16.

Some people in the December thread just started getting their NOA2's so it depends on the case. The information on visa journey is based off the trend they are seeing with other peoples visas and although it is pretty accurate, it does depend. This process is going to take us all though until at least April/May time (for most of us anyway) so we have a long ways to go.
