If the case is your i485, then yes, you didn't need an interview and were approved. Now to wait them to mail your green card. Congrats!!!!

Has anyone here experienced your online case showed "CARD IS BEING PRODUCED" while your case was actually still being reviewed? The reason why I'm asking is because my wife and I just had an interview for AOS this morning. We were told to wait 30-60 days while the case officer reviews our case. Whatever the reason was I think she suspected something and she wanted to review the case more. However, we just checked the case on USCIS system, and it is showing CARD BEING PRODUCED???

thanks

Sounds like you were approved, regardless of what was said at the interview? If so, in a few days your status should change to indicate that your card was mailed. Good luck!

I received my green card yesterday. So glad to get a break from USCIS for almost 2 years!

got the card finally, however Country of Birth is incorrect. How do we request to update the country and get the replacement? USCIS got info on how to request a replacement which cost $300+ but we do still have the card and we simply need to let them know to fix their part.

We had our interview today morning in Boston. The entire process took us about 30-35 minutes. We were called in around 20 minutes after our scheduled time but the office was unusually busy this morning. My spouse (petitioner) went in first with our lawyer. I (beneficiary) was called in after about 15-20 minutes. The officer was civil and asked mostly matter-of-fact questions. The only relationship-based questions were, 'How did you guys meet? How was the first date like?' and 'When was your last trip together? Which of your trips were most memorable and why?'. I think the trip-related questions were because our photo album had pictures from several trips that we took together before and after our marriage.

We were approved on the spot. The online status soon changed to 'new card is being produced'. We were also advised to update our new address on AR-11 (we moved to a new place in MA a week back and thought the new lease would be enough for the officer to update address on the spot.)

Hopefully, the card will arrive shortly. :-)
