If the ceac status says "READY" does this mean the package has arrived at the embassy??!

Yes and you will see now case Status dates. So every time they touch your case the date updates.

A case compete doesn't automatically give you an interview. They could have been complete with scheduling and filled up. All you can do is wait until next go round for March. Which should start end of January 1st week in February.

Not until February 25th

but since the paperwork is already there, we're going to try and request an earlier date if possible!

Oh more than a month! If your medical report is ready, you should email your consulate for an earlier date.

Just got email today that NVC has received my request for expedite and it's under review. Hoping to be approved so that we will be given an interview date next month or early march. We've had case complete since Dec. 11th, but the wait time for interview in Jamaica is 3-4 months after cc.

Mumbai is one of those consulate who is very busy and they have a lot of interviews scheduled a month ahead....I believe you will get a interview for March and it will be scheduled in last week of Jan or 1st week of Feb.... Also are you a US citizen or green card holder....I am asking because US citizens are given priority over green card holders when scheduling interviews....
