Hello just wanted to know if anyone has gotten the immigration visa application in hands of a supervisor review ? IV application was submitted on 10/02/15 it said it would get reviewed within 30 business days. 11/03 nothing was done so it was sent to a supervisor review until this day I haven't heard anything. I am so sad they said its about 42 days from 11/3 it will almost be 42 days but nothing yet. Anybody went thru this? That's all they need to review to get a CC

How do you know that the DS-260 is the only thing left to be reviewed? I submitted my DS-260 on May 1st, we were put on supervisor review on June 25th and then our case just sat on a desk till our Senator got involved three months later. It took us four months of Supervisor review to get cc.

Supervisor review is a lottery, if you're lucky, you get reviewed within 42 days, if you're unlucky, you can be stuck for months. I would wait till you're on day 46 and then contact your Senator for help. Good luck.

The exact same thing happened to us. I submitted my IV and AOS documents together in May 2015 electronically. They only processed my IV fee in July and I completed the DS-260 August 1, 2015. By September 1, 2015, no one had reviewed anything and that was all that was needed for a CC. We spoke to a supervisor by the name of Molly in the first week of September and within a week of speaking to her, our case was complete and I had my interview 5 weeks later. It's frustrating that they take so long for something so simple - they never stick to the timelines they give themselves.

I'm not sure if you'll have the answer, but it sounds like you might have the answer I am looking for right now. When you call NVC, the first level people you talk to always give the generic "wait x amount of days" answer. I can then ask to talk to a supervisor, correct? Can I ask to also talk to "Molly" or should I befriend the random supervisor they forward me toward? What words do I use to ask that? Should I ask to "Talk to the supervisor who is possibly reviewing my case?"

I just want to know what I should say and ask to get to the right person higher up than 1st level people. I've talked to 1st level people and they're very nice but I just want to know more of what is going on.

Thanks in advance

Hi,

Yes, the first level people aren't terribly helpful. They just give you scripted answers. You have the right to speak to a supervisor. Usually, this is just the available supervisor on the floor - the first one I spoke to and that handled my case initially was Betty. She wasn't good at all and didn't help our case and make things move faster. The one that helped with the DS-260 processing and CC was Molly. When you call them, you can ask to speak with a supervisor by the name of Molly but that of course depends on whether she's there, if she's free, etc. Give it a try and if it doesn't work, call back the next day and ask to speak to some other supervisor. I'm sure one of them will be able to help. Good luck!

hello guys, today NVC sent me an email and they wrote as following:

Dear Sir/Madam,

All documentation necessary to complete the National Visa Center's processing of your case has been received. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

The US Embassy or Consulate General may require additional documentation at the time of the interview.

Sincerely,

Director

National Visa Center

But i didn't receive 3N/A ? what does it mean?
