So, the Tier 2 IO called back. She was unable to offer any further information with regards to the EAD as it's still within the regulated processing time. With regards to my AOS, she said it was in the queue to be scheduled for an interview - which is not what the case status website says - so I guess that is progress, right? :)

i filed SR on Sunday and today my status was changed for EAD.

It says

" On February 29, 2016, we ordered your new card for Receipt Number MSC1690333xxx, and will mail it to the address you gave us. If you move, go towww.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address."

Hope that will help and give some hope to my batch mate.

Such a relief!!!!!!!!!!

just received the letter that tells me EAD and AP got approved.

case status for EAD says approved, but AP says case received.

Now waiting for the actual card :-)

BUT they got my name wrong AGAIN. They keep missing the hyphen, I already put in an update twice and now this notice doesnt have it again.

The guy at the biometrics did say they dont have it in the computer, so it wouldnt show up on his screen anyways, but shouldnt the notice have the correct one? Man, complicated. I really dont want my EAD/AP to not match my marriage certificate, that would suck when traveling.

I also hyphenated my last name. My NOA's came without the hyphen. I put in a service request straight away. My name was updated. I received my RFE with the hypen and now my EAD/AP approval with the hyphen so if I were you I'd make another service request to get that corrected. At my biometrics appointment the officer told me they'd not include a hyphen unless my birth certificate included that. Obviously that was a load bull! Anyway, my advice is be persistent if you want the hyphen. I was.

Great to see some progress about EADs for Dec filers!

We filed 2015 taxes and then sent out the reply to the RFIE today...reaching NBC tomorrow. Hope we see some positive news soon!

Yay! Received the EAD/AP combo card by priority mail today. This follows receiving the approval notice in the mail this past Saturday.

Therefore I can confirm that, at present, the notifications being sent out by USCIS seem to be delayed or most definitely inconsistent for some filers. I know this because, my status only changed this morning to say the card had been shipped (but in fact, it had been shipped on the 25th). I got an approval notice NOA which seemed to double as a shipped notice until the day of delivery for the actual card, when as I've said, my status updated to card shipped.

Such a relief to finally have the card in my hands!! Good luck to those still waiting and keep in mind the inconsistencies in notifications that many of us have now experienced.

...they already sent the card on Friday, so I have to wait until I get it and if it is missing on there as well I have to call again and ask for them to fix it then *urgh* one more thing to fix...

Same here. Even though so far they've corrected mine, I'm still worried they'll mess up my card. One can only wait and hope. ? good luck for waiting on the mail!

Everything gathered, collected and sent. Ours should also arrive on Monday! I've noticed a couple of people who've had RFE's seem to get their EAD/AP approval approximately 3 weeks after the USCIS notification that they've received it. Here's to hoping!

GOOD LUCK ? And everyone else dealing with RFE'S.

Thank you!

Congrats to all those who have been approved and are now receiving their cards! I can't wait to join you all in a few weeks time! Happy job hunting and international travel!

I have also received my card a few minutes ago! They sent me a late notification, there wasnt tracking number initially but an update earlier stating that it has been delivered and tracking number was given.

Sorry to bug you again Rach, so with EAD, I can practice my driving with my husband with just my foreign license am I right? I intend to practice for alittle before going to take the driving test. Do you have the direct link for GA dmv of what it says to bring? I'm at the main website and I'm confused, Thanks alot!

Kinda confused because here's what I've found:

The Georgia DDS does not accept translated documents. If a non-US citizen establishes residency in Georgia, he or she must obtain a Georgia driver’s license within thirty (30) days.

DDS will only issue a driver's license in a name that exactly matches the original immigration documents.

Visa Waiver; also requires unexpired Foreign Passport Unexpired Foreign Passport with a valid US Visa and valid I-94 or I-797; also requires I-766, I-20, or DS -2019 I-766 (TPS - Temporary Protected Status) I-766 (non TPS); also requires unexpired Foreign Passport I-551 or I-551 Stamp with photo on I-94 form I-551 Stamp; also requires unexpired Foreign Passport I-94 (Asylee status) I-94 (Refugee status) Certificate of Citizenship Certificate of Naturalization Unexpired Foreign Passport with Immigration Status of A, B, E, H, I, L, O, P, Q, R, or S

My interview is just 3 weeks away, so mind as well find a job after interview since I'm preparing the documents and bills. Probably will travel after everything is done safely when I get my green card!
