Just got case complete. My wifes maiden name is on the applicant spot though and we just noticed its spelled wrong will this matter when the rest of correspondance has used her Married name instead?

So far we have been following NVC December Filers thread.

Here's our story:

Hi All! We have been here since November 2 and still not moving anywhere yet. Our first scan date is November 2. We found out a few days later that we missed out a paper (copy of a police cert) and there we did a big mistake of sending it with a cover letter to NVC at our lawyer's advice instead of waiting for RFE. So the second scan date is November 12 - already ten days away from the first. Now that it has been 47 days even from the second scan date with no CC yet, our frustration level is like unbearable. :'( We call NVC everyday since we reached 30 days and learned that our case has been under suervisor review since December 16. We also tried other options such as sending follow up emails through our lawyer and a congressman office. Still nothing is clear about our case except that we receive the same answer everyday - "under supervisor review". We requested to talk to the supervisor directly with no luck so far.
We were not fortunate with NOA2 as well where we had to wait almost 7 months to get it approved. Now again with NVC case completion! We already missed our first Christmas and praying very hard now to be together on our first marriage anniversary in February second week with a hope which gets thinner each day. Really so painful!
We are now seeking for all kinds of valuable opinions on what we should do next. Please, please share your thoughts or anything you know what we can do to end this painful process as soon as possible. Thanks everyone!

I still didn't receive my CC email, but called today (option #4 on phone menu @ NVC), and interview was scheduled today for February 1st!

Just wondering. Is the estimated wait time 30 BUSINESS days or just 30 REGULAR days? Because my scan date is Nov. 20 and I'm debating whether or not to call and get on supervisor review. Should I wait longer or should I go for it. Please let me know. Thank you

It should be 30 regular days, and the answer I think is yes or no, it all depends on luck.

back in October I had the same situation as you do, after 30 regular days, the customer rep asked me to put it into supervisor review and I struggled. But she still put me in there anyway.

Luckily my 2 cases were reviewed 3 days after they put it under supervisor review back by then. However I got a RFE on one of my case.

So this time it went past 30 days AGAIN after I mailed in some new documents, which the scan date was Nov 20, and they put it under supervisor review on Dec 21.

now it's already Dec 29 but I didn't get any news yet although I am calling there everyday, I think their schedule is gonna be delayed due to christmas and new year holidays also.
