Wife travels out of the country without me. Will uscis know about this?

Filled for ROC late July and waiting to hear back. My wife has no family in the US other than her cousin so she travels back to Ecuador a few times a year family and childhood friends without me. Does uscis see this movement? I imagine it would not look good. But then again if people provide travel info as proof maybe they're not able to track our travels?

Yes, they can see. I have traveled twice to my country without my wife and when we called for ROC interview, IO asked both of us why didnt she go with me.

I believe the OP is simply referring to any negative impact of not travelling with his wife during her escapades Home. and not the interview. I highly doubt it as I'm sure shes far far far from the first person to do that. People have to work and cant take off all the time. I'm sure they could find out the travel if they wanted to and probably good to keep records of it regardless.

Leaving for a very long contiguous period of time can be an issue. If you have money to ship her home multiple times/ year good on you I suppose.

Like always just explain the truth, its typically the easiest. I quite frankly am sure I will not want to go back as much fiance does.

No RFE. we sent ROC application in December last year and had stokes interview in March. they separated us and asked same questions. one of them was how many times i have traveled to my country and why my wife didnt go with me.

If she is not spending more time in her home Country than here then there is no problem,but if she is returning here for a couple of months and living again then expect to explain how your relationship is a bonafide relationship.

That may be true, but my wife hasn't been back without me. Whenever we leave the country, we leave together. If she wants to travel for leisure by herself, she better pay for it herself.

I can't imagine there should be any problems with this? She's your wife, not your siamese twin, so individual travel shouldn't provoke suspision :-)

Her travelling is of no issue if you have and can show a bonafide relationship. No law or rule that says she has to travel with you.

Of course there isn't. There are no specific laws for all the various issues they look at

to determine bonafide relationships.

But that doesn't preclude them from looking at and asking questions about any issues they want to.

Our goal should be to not wave red flags, or even yellow ones.

One thing for sure, if she is planning on filing for US citizenship with that N-400, she has to keep track of all those trips. Also have limits on how long she can stay out of the country, but all this is in the N-400 Instructions.

Thanks for responses; definitely eases my mind a bit but like Leo said, I rather not raise any flags. Might be too late for that I guess, hopefully they're understanding.
