I hate take offs and landings. Flying out of John Wayne here in Orange County California is a real trip because of the agreement they have with the residents of Newport Beach the plane feels like it is going straight up. Ugh!

you know I hate most of the things mentioned.

I, like featherb always have that person in front of my who loves to recline all the way back so that their hair is tickling my nose!

I hate the air, so freaking stuffy, makes my lips so dry. and makes me thirsty. Seems retarted that they hand out salty sacks - something that makes people even MORE thirsty!

I hate feeling like I am a sardine in the economy class section , and even worse when I am flying 10 or more hours from JFK to Istanbul. By the time I get there, I can barely feel my legs....arrggh!

Once, I got lucky on a trip back, and during my connection in Frankfurt, I got bumped to first class. Was great.....a lot of leg room....all the wine I could drink (burp... hiccup! :hehe: ) ......dinner with scallops (sounds better than it actually was though), plus my own little TV with channels of different movies that I could watch. Was great.

But, mainly....it's that feeling of being packed in , and can barely move (I just keep waiting for the stewardesses to pour the "tomato sauce" over me....). The longer the flight...the worse it is.....

Yes, I took off once from Orange county before. fun like a rocket cause they put full power and hold the brakes then they release them.

But one thing that really grips me and is a pet peved is the people around the airport, they ###### and moan cause of the noise and get all kinds of things changed.. well my anwser is this, the airport was there much longer then they were and they knew of the airport there so why then they buy the house..  if you dont like the noise then dont buy the house, nobody held a gun to their heads..

I hate turbulance 'cause it feels like the sucker's just gonna crack right open. Kind of like when you take a lobster and bend it backwards to crack the tail, you know? I totally picture that happening each time we hit bad bad turbulance. Then I think about which end's gonna be sucked into the sky first and I brace myself...........like it's gonna help at all to be braced into the seat while it's being sucked into the atmosphere...NOT.

I dont particularly care for the food....especially in the economy class.......it looks & tastes like it was cooked in the early 1970's, thrown into a freezer, allowed to defrost a few hours before takeoff, was then smothered in grease, put in the microwave to be heated and then served.......and the teeny tiny cups they provide to drink from.....that i need to be refilled at least 4 times to feel that my thrist was quenched.

Ooooh, I hate turbulence too!! We're only supposed to feel that way when we're on a rollercoaster.

It makes me scared - I guess I'm a big baby then. Last time I flew they warned us about turbulence (there was none) and the lady next to me told me it was the first time she had flown SOBER. Then she went on to tell me how she was 9 days clean and about her drug addiction...oh hell to the no!!

I don't mind the take-off and I LOVE the landing because that means I'm THERE (wherever I'm going).

I have to agree that the limited space is a pain in the butt, as is children crying, but most of all I hate people reclining like they're in their freaking houses.

HOWEVER, I'm flying in 3 days to go see my LOVE and attend the interview with him. It's all worth it....for that, I LOVE to fly!! ;)

It really bothers me when kids are kicking and screaming behind your seat, when somebody stinks the plane, turbulence and snotty flight atendants.

Or drunk people on flight, they can get sooooo annoying
