Received the letter today with the interview date. This could change though, as they took him literally when he wrote "none" as a middle name so as to not leave any blanks on the paper. They think that's his middle name now.... :sleepy:

Will be making a phone call first thing Monday morning to get this in order so am hoping it doesn't change the dates.

I had the same thing :( yesterday i noticed that i have the same problem as u..

I found in part of address in my noa that they put NONE as my middle name (1name none 2name)

I called them today she told me to send a letter to the office but i do my request in the website

Im scared if that late my interview.. Whats ur opinion guys?!

I talked to them this morning and they had me send a letter to the office handling our case with the correction, however, she said it also could just be handled the date of the interview. She didn't seem to concerned.

I opted to do both. The letter went out today and then we'll advise them on the appointment date.

When they do your background check, they search for all possible combinations of your name.

So they will have checked your name with and without the "None" that you entered for a middle name.

This means that there shouldn't be a delay in your application... your interviewer can correct this at the interview.

However, your NOA asks you to check all your information and write to USCIS immediately if there's a mistake... so it's good to contact them, but I wouldn't worry.

I received text/email notification on 12/29 that they've scheduled my interview - now I'm anxiously waiting for my letter to come in the mail :clock:

Yes! ^_^ and thank you!!! I'm more nervous about the letter getting lost in the mail than the civics test at the moment :s our mail carrier has been misdelivering a lot of mail for the past months *panic*

erm...sooo...I received my interview notice today for February 2, 2016 as well as a second envelope with another notice, "Interview Descheduled by USCIS" :crying: - both appear to have been mailed on the same day.

Is there any way to confirm if my interview was actually cancelled?

I called the Military Helpline and they were able to confirm that my interview was indeed cancelled. :cry: They said to call back in 2 weeks if I haven't received a new interview schedule yet and they will call the field office for me and see why they had to deschedule.
