Good morning November Filers and other

Need some advise

I am having so many issues with my USC Husband and it has been going on for a very longtime but I have been trying so hard to make my marriage work with him. All the thing he has put me and my children through, I still love him and stayed committed to my marriage.

However, we had a disagreement last Thursday 7/21/16, and he left our home and have contacted me since, he hasn't been to his job and I have no idea where he is. This is the 3rd time he has disappeared without telling me or contacting me, just because he is upset about something, most times he is the one causing all the issues

Very frustrating and I am so stresses out right now.

Please can anyone advise, how will this affect my I-751 application, since I haven't been approved for my ROC, filed in November 2015, if I should decide to make drastic decision filing for divorce.

Thank you Visa Journey Friends

Sorry for what you are going through. I hope you and your husband can work it out. I can think filing for a divorce would only impact you if USCIS call you both in for an interview and then he doesn't show or is not cooperative. I would wait until you get the 10 year GC then talk to a family lawyer and see what makes sense for you and your family. check out www.avvo.com I've used it in teh past you can post questions there and lawyers will give you basic answers to legal questions. All the best

Hey all,

We had our interview on 08/15 and it went really smoothly.

The gentleman asked us a few basic questions like if we were still married, our address, when I came to the US for good and if we had a photo album.

I told him I had a picture on my phone made on the 4th of July. He asked some questions about it and that was it.

At the end of the interview he handed me a paper showing he recommended our application for approval and told me that I would receive my new green card within 4 weeks :dancing:

I'm coming up to the three year rule, based on marriage, to apply for citizenship. Can I do that at any time now? I know there's a five year rule, where you don't have to supply as much supporting evidence.

Mates

I got approved with waiver ( extreme cruelty / abuse ) . it got approved a week after they received the RFE response.

They said they delivered the card but they said it to be delivered in my old address. I couldn't find any card in the old address - any suggestion ? Can I ask for a new one ?

thanks

Can you track the card by using online case status? If it's delivered and not there, perhaps you can do infopass and see if the IO can request it to be sent again to new address, or I-90 for a lost card.

Yes I called USCIS and they asked me to wait 30 days to doing infopass or I-90.

Its weird .. .lets see if I can get hold on my card. I just want to go home and see my parents who are not physically well . it has been so long and I am glad that they are still alive.

Does anyone know if I can get a stamp on my passport on approved green card ?

thanks

Hello everyone!! I filed my last November 2015, I have't heard anything yet. I just bought my ticket to visit my country in December. Can I re-entry the US without my green card? What should I do? Thank you
