As per my knowledge you need to have the petitioner original W2 and IRS tax transcripts and also whatever they mentioned in the interview letter too, please confirm with someone else too.

They asked the tax returns. I mentioned I don't have as the petitioner started working only this year. I have given them the joint sponsor's one. But they wanted the petitioner. Then I gave the original of the petitioner's employment letter. They kept that original with them alongwith Police clearance.

It's always better to carry every original of the petitioner and the applicant for the interview. You have to carry all the originals of the documentation that you have submitted to NVC. NVC took the copies with the intention that you will show the originals at the interview. It's understood. They won't mention that in the interview letteer but you need to carry to save time. You have to carry originals of Tax Returns, Tax Transcripts(if not submitted to NVC), W-2's, AOS, Naturalization certificate, Employment letter, pay checks, etc. of the petitioner. Tecchnically speaking whatever copies you submitted to NVC you need to carry originals. For example I did not mention Divorce, Court records as I don't have. Someone might provide copies of those to NVC then you need to carry originals of those too...........

Please take more documentation than not taking. You never know what they will ask. Please carry all originals..........with one copy of each original.

Thank You to both of you...I will mail out originals to my husband asap...even though I am waiting for interview to be scheduled ...I will give him original of every document I sent to NVC. I completely agree with you guys...It's better to have more documents than necessary...you never know what they'll ask for....Better safe than sorry...As of now waiting for interview to be scheduled ..Praying I get it soon and everyone else waiting....

Received CC email this morning with today's date on the letter. Exactly 7 days after CC! Finally a sense of relief.

Such a relief ...I agree :)

I hope somebody will report that they got scheduled today! Already been 9 days with no reports of scheduling (except for CallMeShams, which I believe was expedited).

I was wondering, dwheels, is it possible that NVC has actually been internally scheduling over the 9 days, but only internally and not yet entered into the system? I believe the IR1/CR1 interviews have their own quotas per each embassy for each month, so while each day passes all other immigrant & nonimmigrant category interviews will fill up the available hours, I hope that this doesn't push our interviews to a further date?

I keep going through the spreadsheet over and over and don't see any 9 days stretches of no scheduling -_-

I hear you...It's getting hard now...I see for our embassy ( Mumbai embassy) ..people were getting their interviews scheduled about two weeks after their CC...and here we are with no news :clock: :clock: :clock: ....I wish they had some sort of update...either they'll schedule or they are done...at least we would know not to get our hopes up for a December interview date...But I guess that's too much to ask for from NVC   :ranting:

By they way, I had similar thought, maybe they are scheduling but haven't announced for some reason.. I hope that's the case and we all get interviews in December so we could be with our loved ones before the new year... I know wishful thinking and I am expecting TOO much from NVC , I should know better by now.... lol

I have a similar question.I don't have a W2 because I just started working in the USA this year. Both my pay stubs and employment letter are printouts from PDFs...like most everything these days. I have assumed that these will be okay for my wife to take, and don't really know how I could get anything else.

Print Outs are fine!! Thats what i used and had no issues... Most companies provide electronic version of docs for employees to print when needed.

Thanks for the link. very informative.

I see people going to Vancouver consulate for Interviews and people to Montreal. I always wondered why I was assigned MTL consulate, and not Vancouver (since I live here)

They do K1 interviews in Vancouver and Montreal, split according to where you live. But only Montreal does CR1/IR1 interviews, since some years. You can probably trace it back to some budget cut or other.

Alright, dwheels76!

I received my husband's interview date for November 18th!

I noticed as I was filling in my timeline, it is exactly 8 months from my NOA1. That is so amazing!

But now I can breathe a little bit as my husband travels to the country of Senegal to get his medical done and prep for the interview.

Unfortunately Many people who had CC before you, and basically everyone after are still waiting.

It seems that NVC has gone on an interview scheduling hiatus, and don't bother calling them because they won't be able to provide you any more info.

Be patient, you've been waiting a little over 2 weeks, there's people here who have been waiting much longer than that.
