I seriously think my case has been forgotten!!! Oh well atleast I am with my husband .. Not like k1. *counting my blessing lol*

Same here Yanirose :(.. we have the same timeline. The last update I got was on 11/02 which says 485 case is ready to be scheduled for an interview.. nothing since then and no RFE. . Getting more nervous and frustrated when I see approvals to people who filed even after I did.. just praying for everything to be ok :/..

Just got the best christmas present - green card arrived in the mail today! :goofy:

Congratulations!

I wasn't checking regularly because my wife didn't apply for EAD/AP. We were very pleasantly surprised by the quick approval. (Must have missed being produced).

It's been 2 months and no biometric. I submitted an inquiry and received a reply in the mail, yesterday. It said that my case is still in the pre-processing stage at NBC and that there was no timeline for completion. Just hope this does not affect my EAD. The college where I worked reopens on the 4th and I need to go back to work. Congratulations and a happy new year to everyone whose case has been approved.

I also haven't received a biometrics appt letter after 2 months - I called USCIS and I received a reply from my local office in Lawrence, MA which said they hadn't sent any mail yet (I thought it might have been returned as I didn't have my name on the mailbox but obviously not the case).

Good luck to you. We have a similar timeline though you are K1 and I am adjusting from an F1 through my PR husband.

So if you're still waiting, call USCIS and give them your information and they will open a Service Request, and he explained to me that it just puts a notice to the service center that the 90 days is approaching for your particular case and they will send you an update within 2 weeks. It basically just puts attention to your case and a hopeful expedited approval. I read where someone did a Service Request and got an approval within 4 days. Fingers Crossed!

Just an FYI! Hope it helps!

good to know info. Two weeks ago during our infopass they were also able to look up the exact location and status of our EAD/AP file at the local USCIS office. They were able to tell me it was on an officers desk being processed. It was approved like 2 days later. Just another option if you are able to get an infopass appointment.

Note we also finally got our NOA1 letter for our EAD/AP approval. It also says they'll mail another letter with the work authorization information... I'm guessing this is the NOA2? Although it's kinda pointless since we've already received the combo card in the mail. It's just for our records i suppose.

K1 Visa Process:

We just got a text that Tim's EAD and AP were approved!!!! Very happy news so we can now go see his son!!!! Hope everyone receives some good news soon.
