DHWEELS.

the mistake my lawyer made iis:

1. Wrong number of household size for my joint sponsor on I-864.

2. Wrong employment status for my main sponsor on I-864.

3. Wrong current annual household income total on my joint sponsor I-864 (The difference is of only a few dollars).

4.Wrong 2014 Total Income on my joint sponsor I-864. (the difference is of only a few dollars).

5.Wrong Current annual household income for my main sponsor on I-864 (the difference is of only 500$).

all the above calculations are off by a few hundered dollars, I asked my lawyer to make new I-864 so I can take it to my interview, but she refused to and said that she will make new I-864 only if they ask for it on the interview day (I really regret hiring a Lawyer). But now I am completing the I-864 & I-864A on my own and having my Main Sponsor and Joint SPonsor sign them. DWheels we can make new I-864 without the lawyer right? The interpreter and preparer sections do we leave them blank? I wonder how did NVC complete my case with these mistakes.

If asked for a new I-864 on my interview day, will the embassy accept the new updated I-864 on the spot?

Thank you. I just dropped him off at the airport he's been here all week. He visits roughly every 3 months. Not personal at all and I will be as detailed as possible with my medical and interview when the time comes just look out for it. All the best with your journey.

Thank you....fingers crossed for you all.

Thank you

thanks Sheri . I was just wonder if spouse not visiting will cause visa denial. I visited my husband twice before we got married so the last time seeing him was September 2014. We haven't seen each other since we got married n he has never been here.

Two souls ? with but a single thought, two ? that beat as one. M & K ?

Yur lawyer should be reported to the bar. They work for you not the other way around.

Of course if asked for they will accept. But they might put you in AP to verify. Those were some major issues. But Have need forms just in case u need.

Hi,

We got case complete at NVC this morning (10/27/2015). Scan date was 9/29/2015, so exactly 4 weeks elapsed.

Waiting on the interview date. The embassy is Singapore.

Quick question...

Should we receive an email that says case complete, or will the next communication only happen once the interview has been scheduled?

I ask cause we haven't received any emails, though I was told on 2 separate calls that case is complete. Just a bit paranoid after reading all the horror stories on VJ.

2014/05/19: Marriage:

2015/06/22: 130 Sent: - USC filing from abroad

2015/06/25: NOA 1

2015/09/17: Case number assigned

2015/09/18: Submitted DS-261

2015/09/18: Paid AOS fee

2015/09/28: Mailed AOS and IV Package

2015/09/29: AOS/IV Package scan date

2015/09/30: Received IV fee bill via email

2015/10/02: Paid IV bill

2015/10/05: Submitted DS-260

Some receive an e-mail saying case complete. I didn't receive one even though I requested it multiple times. Guess they say I should be satisfied with a case complete.

Since I received my p3/p4 packet in the email can we say that my CC was October 30th and say that my case was expedited?

Dwheels...

We can just copy stuff from the old I-864 onto the new I 864, right? And we leave the preparer section blank?

if you are doing it yourself there is no preparer you are paying a fee to. just copy the stuff with the corrections, sign and date. leave preparer blank.
